🍂 Fall Projects = Building Permits! 🍂

As we move out of summer and into fall, many homeowners are starting or trying to wrap up projects like:
✅ Fences
✅ Decks
✅ Roofing
✅ Siding

If you’re planning a project, don’t forget to apply for your building permit first!

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE – EAST 11TH STREET

Please be aware of a full road closure on East 11th Street from Knowles Avenue to S. Starr Avenue beginning Monday, September 21, and continuing through Tuesday, September 22.

If all goes according to plan, the roadway should be reopened before school lets out on Tuesday, September 22.

Please plan an alternate route and allow a little extra time for your commute. Thank you for your patience while this work is completed!

Clerks are hard at work preparing absentee ballots! All absentee requests on file for the November 3 General Election will go out tomorrow, September 17.

This morning, our community came together to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

A special thank you to the VFW Auxiliary for organizing this meaningful 9/11 remembrance ceremony, and to the community members who took the time to come out and pay tribute.

Our hearts are with the families, friends, and loved ones of everyone who lost their lives on 9/11. We also extend our deepest gratitude to the brave women and men who serve and protect our communities each and every day.

We will remember.

🌟Patriot Day – September 11 🌟

On September 11, our community will come together to remember, reflect, and honor those whose lives were lost on September 11, 2001.

The VFW Auxiliary invites everyone to join them at the New Richmond Fire Department, 106 S. Arch Ave., for a brief ceremony honoring the fallen and recognizing the courage and sacrifice of the first responders and all those who served that day.

🕊️ Moment of Silence: 8:55 a.m.

Please join us as we pause together in remembrance.

Patriot Day is a time to reflect on the strength, resilience, and unity that emerged in the face of tragedy—and to remember the importance of standing together as a community.
