Pointe Coupee Shooting Sports - 4H

🦺 June is 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵! There's no better time to gear up for hunting season than 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘸!

Whether you're a new hunter or just need a refresher, taking a 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 this summer is one of the best ways to ensure a safe, responsible, and successful season in the fall. 🦌

Hunter Ed teaches firearm/hunting safety, wildlife management principles, ethics, game identification and outdoor survival. And it’s 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁. 𝟭, 𝟭𝟵𝟲𝟵 in Louisiana.

Everyone 10 yrs old and older in Shooting Sports must have this certification. Register here to take the online class at home and the field portion in Morganza!

East Feliciana Parish 4-H is excited to announce our first Archery 3D Invitational on Saturday, September 14, 2024, in Clinton, LA at the Bob R. Jones Idlewild Research Station. 13248 Gross Road Clinton, LA 70722.
This event invites all current 4-H members, 4-H Alumni, 4-H Shooting Sports Coaches, and Parents. The invitational will have both individual and team divisions. Team member score will also qualify you to compete as an individual.
$25 for individual entries and $40 for team entries. Square invoice will be sent once registration is received.

🍀 The excitement this week continues as Pointe Coupee’s own Jax W. heads to Grand Island, Nebraska for the 4-H Shooting Sports National Championship!! Jax placed 2nd in the state in National Compound Archery and will represent Louisiana 4-H on the Louisiana Archery Team!
