There are people who own a business… and then there are people who become the HEART of it.
Alexis, you are truly one of those people.
You are an incredible boss, trainer, mama, wife, friend, leader, and somehow the person who can walk into a room and instantly make it feel a little more fun. Your energy is contagious, your laugh is infectious, and the way you genuinely care about the people around you is something you can’t fake.
Every day, you inspire people to show up, push a little harder, believe in themselves, and most importantly ENJOY the journey. You’ve created so much more than a gym. You’ve created a community where people feel welcomed, supported, challenged, celebrated, and like they belong. And that doesn’t happen without someone who pours as much heart into people as you do.
To the woman behind so many of the smiles, sweat sessions, laughs, friendships, and “I’m so glad I came today” moments at PureFIT… we hope today you feel just how loved and appreciated you are.

7 years ago, we opened Pure Fit NSB 💙💧💪🏻

We were a young family with a big dream, absolutely no business experience, and honestly… no idea what we were getting ourselves into 😂 We just knew we were willing to work hard, figure it out, and give it everything we had.

We definitely didn’t know that just 6 months later, we’d be forced to shut our doors because of COVID. We didn’t know how many times people would tell us it would never work.

And here we are… 7 years later.

Still here. Still growing. Still working. Still doing things our way.

We move different.
(Yes, it’s grammatically incorrect. And yes, we like it that way. 😂)

Looking back at videos, I can’t help but get emotional. We were terrified, but at the same time, we felt invincible. I was 7 months pregnant with Hendrix, we had this crazy dream, and we had no idea that every little decision we were making would eventually lead us here.

The name.
The logo.
The colors.
The facility design.
The equipment.
Every little detail.

We built this from the ground up, and that is something I will forever be proud of.

Building a business is scary. Building one without knowing exactly what you’re doing is even scarier. But building something that is authentically yours… that’s something no one can ever take away from you.

And we could not have done any of this without our team. We are so incredibly grateful for every person who has believed in Pure Fit, especially those who have been beside us since the beginning. You have helped turn a business into a family and a dream into something so much bigger than we ever imagined.

Seven years later, I look back at those two scared kids with a dream and just want to tell them…

Keep going. You have no idea where this is going to take you and how may lives you are going to touch 💙

7 years of Pure Fit.
7 years of hard work.
7 years of grit.
7 years of figuring it out as we go.

And we’re just getting started 👊🏽

Today we’re celebrating more than just another trip around the sun—we’re celebrating one of the people who makes the PureFIT community what it is.

Dennis came to PureFIT as one of our earliest members, but somewhere along the way, this gym became more than a place to work out. It became a place where friendships were built, challenges were conquered, and memories were made.

Dennis, we’re incredibly lucky to have you not only as part of our Trainer Staff, but as part of the PureFIT family. Thank you for the energy, the encouragement, the friendship, and for always reminding us that becoming the best version of ourselves should be something we actually enjoy.

Happy Birthday to our Jasmyn! 💙

If you’ve ever walked through the doors at PureFit, chances are you’ve been greeted by her smile, her energy, and a “hey, how are you?” that actually made you feel seen.

Jasmyn is so much more than our front desk and customer relations girl. She’s one of the people who makes PureFit feel like a community. She welcomes new faces, remembers familiar ones, helps keep the day moving, and somehow manages to bring a little extra good energy wherever she goes.

And we’ve loved watching her grow right alongside this gym. From showing up behind the desk to showing up on the beach, at events, and everywhere in between, she has become such a special part of the PureFit family. 💙

From the moment you walk in, you can tell this isn’t just another gym, it’s a TRUE wellness experience!

The facility is absolutely beautiful, impeccably clean, & adds in a lil’ dash of a luxury spa vibe. The amenities are outstanding, from the personal training & group classes to the sauna, cold plunge, & open gym. Everything is intentionally designed & exceptionally well maintained!

What truly sets this gym apart, though, is the people! The staff, trainers, & members all create such a welcoming, encouraging, & genuine community.

Whether you’re new to fitness or have been working out for years, you’ll feel supported & right at home. This is so much more than a place to work out, it’s a place where people invest in their health, connect w. others, & enjoy the process. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional fitness experience :)
