Disappointing night for us!

Evan - First round of practice the car was too loose. Wasn’t able to make the second round of practice due to a power steering failure. Went out for qualifying and broke the torque link and driveshaft ending our night. Thank you to Herb Neumann for the opportunity.

Kyle - Practice was good, was on 10 month old tires. Qualified 4th out of 10, with the invert started 1st. Lap 9 lost breaks ending our night.

Tried our luck with the late model at Auburndale again last night. There was a big field with lots of good cars. Qualifying was decent and clocking in 12th out of the 22 cars.

First race started 12th and got a right front flat on lap 6. Came in and had to put on an old tire to finish the race. Restarted 20th and was able to pass a lot of cars but just gettin in the wrong lane on the restarts and having to pass them all again. Kept battling and finished 9th.

Second race we had high hopes after finishing with good speed in race 1. Started 9th and got up to 6th by lap 18 and got dumped by the car behind. The driver was not willing to “tap” and admit it was his fault so we both got sent to the rear. After that, just kept being in the wrong place at the wrong time and getting used up a lot. With 10 laps to go, was hard racing and the car behind made contact with the left rear which sent him over the roof and hood and knocking off most of the body.

First time at Auburndale with a Super Late Model!
Had Easter on the track with twin 50 lap features. Qualified 6th out of 14 cars.
Feature 1 - Started 6th, finished 7th.
Feature 2 - Started 7th, finished 8th.
Lost a few spots in the second feature being drove up the track and ran through. Some guys are just rough.
