The newest addition to the arsenal, and my 2nd fly rod setup. Picked up this combo from Redington at Cabela's a few days ago and finally got to put it to some use! Had a blast using it all, even if the wind made it more difficult than it needed to be. Looking forward to learning the 7 weight for the first time!

While on my latest fly fishing learning mission, I had a blast with some really nice sized Green Sunfish. This big boy, my PB or 2nd biggest I've ever caught was hiding in a large rock pile when it fell for the caddis fly floating past it.

Time to finally build up my first fly fishing box! I ordered 100 or so flies from Big Y Fly Company Inc! While most are for trout and panfish. I grabbed some for Largemouth, Pickerel, and everything in between. The pictures afterwards are some of the catches after getting my inventory together. Some of the biggest Green Sunfish I've ever caught. Watching one of my Top 5 Ever Largemouth pick up one of my worms, then immediately drop it will haunt me forever, but I'm very much enjoying my learning journey.

It's amazing how different some fish colorations can be depending on the creek they live in. This relatively shallow PA creek is packed full of rocks and a lot of shade. Most of the Browns I've caught there have had beautiful, dark gray patterns on their back. This one was probably my favorite of the crew.

My first Pumpkinseed on the Fly Rod was a doozy! One of the biggest I've ever caught and with some beautiful colors. Took a size 16 Elk Hair Caddis off the water the 2nd I landed it above some heavy weeds.
