Hello All!

This email is a reminder to everyone that we have our monthly NSCA tournament on Saturday the 12th and Sunday the 13th. Please come on out and have some fun this weekend!

This tournament we will be trying some new styles of targets as Connor will be setting the targets. We will have a 100 target Sporting Lite on the Roadrunner course which will be fun for all levels of shooters, 100 target Old Settler Main being typical NSCA difficulty, then the 100 target Walt Bishop Main (Tough!) being a test of your sporting clays skills. There will be concessions till 3:00pm each day as well.

If you are a member not wanting to shoot sporting clays in the tournament, you do not have to. All trap/s***t fields will be open during the tournament as well as fivestand. Remember, absolutely no shooting before 9:00am!

(As Connor and Lakota are setting targets this week they will be shutting down those stations to ensure the integrity of the tournament)

🎯 THE GRIZZLY CLASSIC — RESULTS ARE IN! 🎯 New Pioneer Gun Club | Labor Day Weekend, Sept 4–6, 2026

What an incredible weekend! We had a fabulous turnout with shooters coming in from multiple states to compete, and the competition did not disappoint - great scores in every event; lots of exciting shootoffs as well! Thank you to everyone who came out, shot with us, and made this weekend one to remember!

A HUGE thank you to Susan Brindley for coming in clutch on concessions and whipping up a fabulous dinner Saturday night — you kept everyone fed and happy, and it did not go unnoticed! 🙌.

Mother Nature let us finish the job — the rain held off until Sunday afternoon, rolling in just as we were wrapping up the final event.

A few shooters put together some seriously impressive weekends: 🎯 Camden Eggert – Junior Champion in 4 of 5 events! 🎯 Brent Gregurek – Sub-Senior Champion sweep, all 5 events! 🎯 Bruce Christian – Senior Champion, 4 of 5 events! 🎯 Tommy W Bourgoin III and Dave Meisinger Sr both ended with some very impressive scores 🎯 Dan Kampa & Jacob S Boerboon – battled it out for the Super Senior title all weekend long! 🎯 Elizabeth Faust took home our Ladies HOA Championship winning all for gauges. Congrats to every single shooter who stepped up to the line this weekend — this club is lucky to have such great competitors and even better people. We had 1st time s***t shoot competitors all the way up to world champions shooting right here are NPGC! As always we never take enough pictures - feel free to add pictures below!

We are sorry for any inconvenience, but the clubhouse will be closing early tomorrow 08/20 at 2:30. Normal hours will resume Friday 08/21.

All fields and sporting courses will be open as normal - 9:00 am - Dusk using your bird card.

Day one of the Rhino (Sporting Clays) is complete! You can still come shoot the event tomorrow! This event also offers super sporting and sub gauge! You can shoot tons of registered targets and this is a BUCKLE shoot! Come out and enjoy an amazing meal in between rounds - today’s biscuits and gravy were DELICIOUS!

Hello!

As we are getting ready and setting targets for The Rhino Classic NSCA Tournament, the Walt Bishop and Old Settler will be closed today Thursday 8/6/26. Tomorrow, Friday 8/7/26 the Road Runner course will close as well. Trap, S***t, and 5-Stand WILL be operational and open to our members during the tournament.

Feel free to join us for the tournament this weekend on Saturday and Sunday! To be eligible for the belt buckle trophies you must be an NSCA member and shoot the main event on both the Walt Bishop and Old Settler courses. If you are not interested in shooting the tournament but would still like to shoot the targets you still can show up and check in with Connor at the front counter to shoot.
