Today, we remember and honor men and women who fought for Korea’s freedom.

On August 15th, 1945, Korea was liberated after 35 years of Japanese occupation.

Their courage and sacrifice gave future generations the opportunity to live freely, to dream, and to build a better future.

At Hong’s Martial Arts School, we believe martial arts is more than learning how to kick and punch.

It is about discipline, respect, perseverance, courage.

And it is about passing those values from one generation to the next.

Today, we remember where we came from, honor those who came before us, and look forward to the future. 🇰🇷
