As you may have guessed, we are in the process now of winding down Body Local. It was an amazing run and the friendships and professional relationships that have grown through this community will stay with me for a very long time. Personally, I learned a huge amount by building this community and by working so closely with Julian. I have nothing but gratitude and I am excited for the new chapter.
About 18 months ago, Venetia and I started Woodstock Healing Arts in Woodstock, NY as a way to bring together so much of what we learned with Body Local. It's an Integrative Wellness Center, offering everything from Massage and Acupuncture to Naturopathic and Functional Medicine to Psychic Readings and Body-Centered Psychotherapy. It's a beautiful space and a powerful team of healers. If you are ever up in the Hudson Valley, please stop by.
Julian is on to new ventures as well and I imagine he will post here about the magic that he has been cooking up.
