From lived experience to leading change.

JUMP Leader Jayden Hernandez (BOS) recently co-authored an op-ed with fellow advocates on why it’s critical for policymakers to Raise the Age for youth under 21 in the justice system.

“Rehabilitation works. When we are given support, education, and opportunity, we thrive. When we are locked away and labeled as criminals, we are pushed further from the futures we deserve.”

One year later, and the impact continues.

In 2025, .community and teamed up with and to host an expungement clinic at , supporting nearly 2,000 people in clearing their records and moving forward.

For many, a second chances means real access to jobs, housing, and stability.

Through the JUMP Leadership Accelerator (JLA), NBA Teams, , and , with the support of , are empowering the next generation of changemakers—helping them build careers at the intersection of sports business, public policy, and social impact. 
 
JLA includes three components:

🏀 The Assist (8‑week rotations with an NBA team and a local advocacy organization)

📚 The Academy, (JLA’s signature 9-month policy training)

💫 The Advance (opportunities to participate in milestone moments like NBA All‑Star Weekend and Horizons Summit)

Join the and Saturday, April 11 9AM - 1PM at FedExForum for the Erase & Elevate Expungement Clinic and Community Resource Fair.
