Yoga is commonly used as a coping mechanism for anxiety and stress. As you practice a particular pose, you can try to concentrate on your breath and be present in order to calm your mind and boost your mood.

It is important to meet yourself where you are when you are open to practicing, even just a few minutes a day of practicing one or two postures can produce significant results.e.

During each pose, be aware of the sensations going through your body. Pay attention to whatever you experience during the pose.

Continue practicing on your mat whenever you notice your mind wandering.
