Happy Holidays from our family to yours 🎄

Great leaders use influence, not force.

However, I still hear people tell me that they tried to change something in their relationship by being blunt & just demanding for that change.

If you want to see more success in seeing changes in your relationship, try using influence as you would at work.

Don't just ask/ demand a change. Influence a change.

Make sure to read the caption - perfectly describes why relationships should be a priority ✨

・・・
Love is a renewable resource.

Which means that if you don’t continually make your relationship a priority, make time and put the energy into it, it will die a slow death.

And for some, not so slow.

If you were to neglect your health, don’t exercise, eat whatever you want whenever you want, eventually, you’ll be confronted with a bill of health that you may not like.

Or if stop putting in energy and time building your career, networking, managing up or down, then you may be able to coast for a while, but I suspect you’ll eventually reap the consequences of your choices.

If you don’t want to invest in dating or apps but expect to find someone magically, or if you assume that your partner will automatically be there for ever, or that now that you are married, you can focus on other areas of your life, think again.

Sure, there are seasonalities to life and you can’t focus on everything all the time.

There is a lot of data to support that beyond 3 priority areas, something will give. I argue to say 3 may be a stretch.

Don’t let the fall out be your relationship, if you want to experience fulfilling love.

Is dating or your relationship a priority?

If yes ➡️ then, do you actually spend time and energy consistently growing it and feeding it?

➡️ What does that look like?

➡️ Where does most of your energy go?

➡️ Is that your most important priority? If yes, great.

If no, what can you shift? ⬇️

Perhaps it’s your mindset. Or your attitude. Or your pessimism. Or the way you manage your time. Or your defensiveness. Or something else.

What comes up for you?

For years, I believed that finding the "right person" was the hard part. That it took meeting lots of new people and going on dates, but once I did, things would be all good. Now, don't get me wrong, things can be good, even great, but just like with all things, there's always ways to better. ⁣
⁣
After Ravi and I started learning more, treating love like a skill, and consciously working on our relationship everyday, we have seen the results & how it impacts our businesses.⁣
⁣
It wasn't just about us learning these skills so we can find support from each other, it was about leveraging my relationship to grow my business. I can say with certainty that Ravi is "my secret weapon" to being an entrepreneur.⁣
