What I eat in a day as a gym girl, hitting my protein goal while eating “off plan” 🫂❤️

I used to think eating off plan meant ruining my progress. So I’d starve myself before a meal out, squeeze in extra cardio, and call it discipline. Really it just left me anxious, restricted, and ten times more likely to eat everything in sight.

Now I follow one rule: nourish my body most of the time, and let the rest fit where it fits.

Save this if you needed the reminder ❤️✨

Workout with me at 61 years old. Today was an upper body workout no dumbbells mostly cable machines. I started off with 15 min of cardio then off to weights. 4 sets of 10-12 of each exercise.

I can’t believe what a difference just 13 weeks can make! 🙈🙈 still have a long way to go, but I’m so proud of myself!

When I first started this, my body felt so different! I was aching all over, my body felt so tight, I was getting out of breath just doing basic tasks! And honestly I didn’t want to feel like that anymore so I’ve been taking it one day at a time and showing up everyday no matter how big or small.

I know it’s not easy with a new born/baby. Some days are better than others but what matters is I’ve been staying consistent!

It’s easy to to wrap your mind around wanting to be “perfect” or waiting for the “perfect” time, but one thing I’ve learned is with kids, there’s never going to be a perfect time to start!

So if you’ve been wanting to start, you just need to START! Because if I can… so can you!! 🥰🥰

I share weekly updates on my postpartum weightloss journey! Follow along and let’s do this together girlies!

Lift Strong, Sculpt Soft: The Secret to a Toned Feminine Body.
If you want that toned, sculpted look:
• Lift heavier than you think (that’s how muscles shape your body)
• Focus on compound moves (squats, deadlifts, hip thrusts)
• Train consistently (3–5x per week > random motivation)
• Eat enough protein (your muscles NEED it to grow)
• Don’t fear “bulking”—you’re building a feminine, strong physique

Remember: fat loss makes you smaller, but strength training gives you shape.

Train like a woman who knows her worth—and her power.

Weight Loss Tips That Actually Work 💪
Choose Whole Foods First
Fill your plate with real, nutrient-rich foods like vegetables, fruits, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Cut back on highly processed foods loaded with sugar and unhealthy oils.
Watch Your Portions
Simple habits like using smaller plates, checking serving sizes, and avoiding eating straight from the pack can make a big difference.
Stay Hydrated
Drink enough water throughout the day—your body can confuse thirst with hunger more often than you think.
Add Protein to Every Meal
Protein helps keep you full longer and supports muscle growth, which boosts metabolism. Great options include eggs, chicken, lentils, and Greek yogurt.
Don’t Skip Fiber
Fiber keeps you satisfied and supports digestion. Load up on fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes.
Move Your Body Daily
Consistency matters more than intensity. Whether it’s walking, lifting weights, yoga, or jogging—stay active.
Prioritize Quality Sleep
Aim for 7–9 hours of sleep. Poor sleep can disrupt hunger hormones and slow down your progress.
Practice Mindful Eating
Slow down, enjoy your meals, and pay attention to your body’s hunger and fullness signals.
Cut Liquid Calories
Limit sugary drinks, sodas, and excess alcohol. Choose water, green tea, or black coffee instead.
Keep Goals Realistic
Focus on long-term habits, not quick fixes. Sustainable progress always wins.
