Introducing… Curtain Up! Performing Arts Center.

I am thrilled to officially launch my very own performing arts program this Fall! This has been a dream of mine for quite some time, and I am confident that now is my opportunity to embark on this journey! Swipe for my weekly schedule for the Fall semester!➡️ Classes are offered for ages K-12.

Announcement! After years of building my Theater community, I have decided to do a soft launch this summer of teaching my own Youth Theater classes! This is an endeavor I have had on my heart for many years, and as I have continued to deepen my involvement in the world of theater education, I feel confident that now is my time!

If you are already part of my Theater community and want to sign up for one of my classes this summer, please reach out! Also, spread the word to Theater kids near and far! I cannot wait to embark on his bew adventure ! 🎭👏🏼

This crew! 🥹🫶🏼 There are still some missing, but most of the people in this picture have been with me every Monday morning at 6:45AM for almost 5 years (shout out to the new faces that hopped into the photo, too!). I couldn’t be more grateful for the friendships and community that has come out of my 6:45AM FireStarter class. As I told you this morning, my life has changed in countless ways over the years, but starting the week together has been consistent through it all.

Thank you for sticking with me. Now you can see this crew in the studio next door on Monday’s @ 6:45AM doing ✨BARRE! ✨ As many of you know, barre was the start of my entire GFI journey, and I can’t wait to bring it back to SCNY!

🚨Team Equinox SCNY! 🚨I have an announcement! TOMORROW morning (3/31) @ 6:45AM will be my last Monday morning FireStarter @ Best Abs Ever class! BUT… have no fear. You will still be able to see me on Monday mornings at the same time, same place… just next door in the barre studio!

Starting MONDAY 4/7, my class format will be switched to barre @ 6:45AM!

More on this later, but my goodness is this the end of an era for me and so many of you that have started your week doing FireStarter with me for over 4 years 🤯. You have no idea how much having you all show up Monday mornings has meant to me.

If you are someone that has taken my FireStarter + Best Abs Ever class through the years, I would love to see you tomorrow morning for one last round on the step! If you have never taken my class but want to start your week off with HIIT, ask me for a guest pass or sign up through the EQX app!

I have so many more life updates that I will share soon, and some of them involve being back in the studio more!

Hey Team Equinox👋🏼 UPDATE! ⬇️

After having this time slot for 2 years, tonight was my last 7:00PM Thursday night Barre class at W92. Tonight’s class was bittersweet, and I will miss ending my Thursday with this crew. These are a few of my fierce, loyal ladies that have been coming to my class week after week for quite some time! 🥰

*Life Update* this summer I started grad school! I am going to be earning a Masters degree in Educational Theatre at NYU. As many of you know, arts education is also a huge passion of mine. Therefore, I will be balancing my full time job, grad school, and EQX. Unfortunately, scheduling can sometimes lead to sacrifices, as much as I like to try to do it all.

Anyways, swipe to see what my EQX class schedule will be for the season starting next week ➡️. Even though I will not be seeing some of you as often, I’m always around trying to sub, running on the treadmill, or even taking a class!

My Equinox community has truly changed my life in countless ways and I am forever grateful to be part of it. ❤️

Perfect day for a run! 🏃‍♀️(Something I’ve never said or thought I would say in my life.)

Today, I ran for the first time ever in Central Park, and if I’m being honest, probably for the first time outside in over 10 years. I’ve been committed to running almost everyday on the treadmill since January, with the intention of eventually being able to be a “New Yorker that runs in Central Park”. And today, I finally accomplished the goal!

Feeling super proud of myself, and excited to continue to run through the park through this Spring in NYC. 💪🏼

🚨Life update! ⬇️

Here’s to new beginnings! I am so excited to announce that I have accepted a full-time position as The Director of Performing Arts & Assistant Director of Physical Education at a private school in NYC. For those of you that didn’t know, Theater Education is a huge passion of mine and I’m so excited to pursue this new opportunity!

Equinox fam, I will miss seeing you as often as usual, but keep an eye out for my condensed schedule and of course, sub opportunities. I will still be around plenty 😘.
