He started training with Grandmaster Chris Chan in the Ip Man Wing Chun system in 2006, and has for many years maintained a private school in Manhattan. He is also qualified expert in many styles of martial arts, including the USMC LINE close quarters combat system, the rank of Shodan in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu (Ninjutsu), Shodan in Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryū Iaido (Japanese Sword Art) and double black belts in both ITF and WTF Taekwondo. He is the sole approved representative of Chris Chan’s Wing Chun system on the East Coast.
