When I first started posting on Instagram I would spend hours researching every single post, trying to make it as “valuable” as possible.

Really, I was afraid that if I didn’t people would think I “didn’t know my stuff” as a therapist (helloooo imposter syndrome)

But when your content is trying to prove your expertise, you end up with content that feels very disconnected to your actual clients

The therapists I see who fill their caseloads with Instagram are much more focused on helping their clients feel seen, heard, and understood...rather than making themselves look impressive

Does it take real time and practice to learn marketing? Yes.

Will there be additional expenses if you have your own practice? Also yes.

But will you take home at least double what you’re making now? YEP.

And for the record no, I don’t have beef with group practice owners. Working at a group practice gave me the confidence to start my own practice, and I’m super grateful for that. I even tried hiring an Associate myself for a bit and realized for me it was WAY too much work for the amount of profit I actually got to take home 🤷🏼‍♀️
