Hurricane Creek Outfitters is a lifestyle brand. What's that lifestyle? If you like to hunt, fish, camp, hike, trap, rodeo, or anything else that gives you a sense of southern pride then HCO is a brand for you. It ain't where you live, it's how you live. HCO is a start up brand that is just getting off the ground. After 3 years, give or take, of creating designs on a laptop, I finally decided to do something with them. Growing up in my hometown in Arkansas, Hurricane Creek ran through my families property. My neighbors were all family, except a few that might as well have been. With only a dozen houses on the road placed smack dab in the middle of a hunting club things like running around barefoot, hunting, fishing, and running around playing in the woods were thought of as normal. It took a good while before I realized that there were kids that didn’t live like that. Hurricane Creek ran through our property, my now wife’s family property, later the property of the first house we bought together, which was the house I grew up in, and even now that we live somewhere else the creek that runs through are even smaller small town is called “Little Hurricane Creek”. So the name was obvious. Then I started noticing that there weren’t many, if any, shirts I could buy that reflected the activities I loved the most. Sure there are shirts for deer, duck, and turkey hunters, and fisherman and I design some like that too, but I couldn’t find many shirts, again if any, for those of us that like to pursue a different quarry. The folks that like running a trap line or trotline. Those of us that enjoy fishing with yo-yos and poppin’ yotes. People that enjoy going after flatheads and furbearers. If you like hunting, fishing, or country living at all then HCO is for you. However, if you like the lesser known things about country living like honeysuckles, long spring traps, bowfishing, bobcat mounts, hog traps, hunting with dogs or anything outside of the traditionally known fins, fur, and feathers then HCO is especially for you.
