What did I fail at in 2023?

- didn’t respect my own boundaries enough
- continued the Pittie party of shame
- stopped taking care of my personal needs
- never took the time to rediscover self love dates

I’m tired of feeling that way and in order to not feel that way anymore means I have to actually acknowledge where I fell short. The beauty of that is, there’s an opportunity to change

• daily practice of positive self talk
• continue my habit of working out and sweating
• reminding myself of all my dreams to hack negative self talk
• work through the physical feeling of fear and overthinking

What are you leaving behind in 2023?

In your “switching it up” era?

New year new laundry list of things you want to achieve?

I hear you🫶🏽 it’s not easy but definitely doable. If you don’t know where to begin - you’re in the right place. Chatting about what you want, where you want to go and keeping an open mind on how you’ll get there - it’ll give you lots of clarity so you can make a full rounded decision on what you want to pursue first.

Talk soon🤘🏽

Client Love 📮

Alex and I met a few years ago, and I deeply appreciate the time we shared as client and coach. I was still in the program and she trusted me so early on in my journey to becoming a coach.

Alex came to me to support her in a drastic life change that was out of her control. We worked on finding things for her to do that would fill her time and express her creativity.
Doing the things she’s always wanted to do but never had the time to pursue 🙃

🪞have you been thinking about what’s next for you in 2024?

1:1 Coaching Session📲

When I first started the program I didn’t really know anything about what a coaching session entailed. I figured maybe you’d have a similar curiosity!

1️⃣tell the coach why you’re seeking support and what your goal is for the session. I.e. gain clarity on a pressing matter.

2️⃣Do all of the talking - you’re going to want to share as much as you can about what’s been going on, things you’ve tried, what has stopped you from getting what you want. Everything that comes to mind matters as it can be THE THING that ties it all together.

3️⃣As you’re answering questions and digging deeper than your surface level bu****it - you might start to notice how some of the answers are giving you surprising insights you didn’t expect. That’s a great thing!

4️⃣Once you’ve established some key points that are coming up as you’re diving into your “problem” or “hindrance” - you’ll have to be honest with yourself and voice out what is stopping you, what’s blocking your progress, what are you afraid of?

5️⃣We know WHY you came in to see a coach, WHAT your goal(s) are, WHAT is blocking you -> so the final step is WHAT is 1 thing you can do to get you closer to your goal(s)?

You can’t leave the conversation until you’ve established an action item.

- call that guy back
- publish my business website
- book that plane ticket
- post that podcast episode

Action items typically should stay small and attainable. You’re more likely to do it and achieve it.

🖇️ this is what a 1:1 session looks like. However, this is also the setup for a long term coaching relationship. Each s session is a micro dose of things to deal with in order to overcome and attain your ultimate goal.

Q&A 💭 coaching edition

Let’s get into a few questions about coaching! I can imagine you’re going to have some thoughts when you’re on the hunt for the right person to be in your corner while you’re realigning your life.

Let’s start simple. I don’t want to overwhelm you by any means, but you should know the difference between therapist & coach. Or where in your life a coach can support you. A coach isn’t for everyone and I hope this can help you hone in on the kind of support that matches you.

If you have any other questions share them in the comments 😊

Info about Transition Coaching 👩🏽‍🏫

• what is transition coaching

• what are examples of life transitions

• why is this our niche

• a few of Ro’s Life Transitions

I agree that the word ‘transition’ doesn’t always flow naturally when describing a shift in life.
However, whether you’re facing a career change, entering motherhood, relocating and starting your life over, or something that feels is on a smaller scale of change - you are deserving of proper support and the right environment to explore all avenues as safely and freely as possible.

What was your last life transition? LEAVE IT IN THE COMMENTS 😊

Im sorry I’ve been MIA for almost a year
I really needed to figure things out
Things just felt like pressure and I needed more fun
So here’s to all the low and high lights in my life and my hair
I suppose I really am a transition coach
Cheers to that

Can’t wait to talk to you sooooon

Love you

Emotion support 🐶

This is Fred, he’s a rescue. He was found wandering the streets of Brooklyn in May of 2020…

Thanks to a group of cops, we were able to adopt Fred and rescue him from going to a high kill shelter.

Any pitbull owner will know this - pitbulls are sooooo clingy, in need of constant attention, and get freaked out by the sound of their own paw hitting the trash can.

What I didn’t know is that Fred helps me clear my mind, he asks for attention because I’ve been sitting down too long or he tells me to go sit outside in the sun so he pretend to play with me while I force myself to take my laptop out and work.

Being that I struggle with habits, hubby helped me get a 9-5 schedule in place and Fred helped me get a 5x a day walk in other wise he promises to cry and annoy me for hours.

Having emotional support I’m a journey of self development and professional growth is vital.

Be thankful to your dog, we don’t deserve them 🤍🕊️
