🔴 Gym Owners, Studio Owner, Boutique Gyms Owners and Trainers! 🔴
Gyms need to organize and be heard regarding the Covid-19 crisis. We all continue to hear about the restaurant industry as well as other businesses but nothing about the fitness industry! Most restaurants are still open for takeout while ALL GYMS have been forced to close.
We need to organize our 50,000 plus fitness facilities and trainers into one unified voice!
We need to get word out to our elected officials on how safe and clean gyms really are and can be.
🔴 Gyms are the ONLY business that already tracks each client so we know every single client that comes in our facility on each day. No other business can make that claim. Therefore, if the insist on contact tracing, gyms can comply with that right now! Walmart, restaurants, and other retail businesses don’t track everyone who comes into the building. We already do that!
🔴 Gyms can easily limit the amount of clients at any given time. Gyms can easily clean and disinfect all day long. Boutique gyms are only open a few hours a day and they can further limit the amount of members and they can also control where clients go and what equipment they can use for a class.
🔴 Group Fitness limits the amount of time a client is in the building as classes are timed! You can’t limit to how long a person shops in Walmart and where they wander and what they touch. How can a store constantly clean every single item? Thousands of people come into a Walmart and Costco on a daily bases and thousands of items are touched each day!
🔴 Most gym clients are healthy. Most clients are not high risk candidates and exercising improves the immune system.
🔴 Join us and help us unite to get the message out to our elected officials. There is truly strength in numbers! We need to let them know how easily gyms can social distance, track clients and keep our members safe!
