If I started as a new football agent tomorrow, I’d pick a niche.

Not because you can never work outside it.

Because focus makes everything easier.

I’d decide:

Who am I trying to help?

What age?

What level?

Which positions?

Which countries?

What problems do they have?

What can I offer?

Where can I find them?

Then I’d build everything around that player profile.

Your content.

Your networking.

Your scouting.

Your club relationships.

Your conversations.

Your reputation.

Compare that with:

“I represent footballers at all levels.”

That’s not a strategy.

That’s a description.

If you’re a new agent, can you describe your ideal player in one sentence?

If you can’t, that might be the first thing you need to work on.

Your FIFA Football Agent licence isn’t your sales pitch.

This is something I really want new agents to understand.

Being a FIFA Licensed Football Agent gives you the right to operate.

It doesn’t automatically give a player a reason to work with you.

Imagine receiving this message:

“Hi, I’m a FIFA Licensed Football Agent. I’d like to represent you.”

What makes that player respond?

Now compare it with:

“I’ve looked at your last season and I think your profile could fit two specific markets. I’ve also identified some areas I’d address before approaching clubs.”

Which conversation would you rather have?

Don’t just tell players what you are.

Show them what you can do.

Your value isn’t the licence.

Your value is what you do with it.

Stop looking for good players.

Start looking for players with problems you can solve.

A talented player isn’t automatically a good client.

They might already have a strong agent.

They might be happy at their club.

They might not be looking to move.

Their expectations might be unrealistic.

Or they might simply not need what you offer.

Look for situations.

A player coming to the end of their contract.

A player struggling to find a club.

A young player who needs a clear pathway.

A player who’s outgrown their current level.

A player who doesn’t understand their options.

Those situations create conversations.

And good conversations can create relationships.

New agents often ask:

“Where can I find players?”

I’d ask a different question:

“Which players have a problem I can help solve?”

That’s where I’d start.

09/09/2026

You don’t need 100 players.

You need the right 5.

One of the biggest mistakes I see new football agents make is trying to speak to as many players as possible.

More DMs.

More emails.

More contacts.

More names on the spreadsheet.

But more players doesn’t automatically mean more business.

I’d rather see a new agent build genuine relationships with 5 players who actually need their help.

Ask yourself:

* Does this player need an agent?
* What problem are they trying to solve?
* Where could they realistically play?
* What does their next move look like?
* Can I actually add value?

If you can’t answer those questions, why are you approaching them?

Being busy isn’t the same as building an agency.

What’s more important when you’re starting out?

100 contacts or 5 strong relationships?

What does a FIFA Football Agent really do? ⚽

Many people think agents spend their days negotiating transfers and signing contracts.

The truth?

Most of the work happens long before a deal is ever completed.

Scouting players.
Building relationships.
Creating opportunities.
Managing expectations.
Solving problems.
Travelling.
Networking.
Supporting clients on and off the pitch.

Being a football agent is about far more than transfers and commission.

FOOTBALL AGENT MENTORSHIP OPPORTUNITY ⚽

Two Football Agent Mentorship opportunities have opened up this summer.

This mentorship is only for people who already hold their FIFA Agent Licence.

It isn't for everyone. It's for people who want to build a career in the industry, avoid costly mistakes, develop confidence, and start getting deals done.

I've been inundated with new football agents who don't understand the business.

Too many agents pass the exam and then find themselves asking the same question:
"What do I do now?"

The exam gives you a licence.
It doesn't give you a strategy.
It doesn't build your network.

It doesn't teach you how to recruit clients, negotiate deals, create opportunities, or handle the challenges that come with working in football.

That's where the Sports BE mentorship comes in.

We build your personal strategy first. Then we activate it.

Some agents want to build their own agency and brand. I'll help you do that.

Others want to work as part of a team. I offer a pathway to join Sprint Management Global, collaborate on deals, and gain experience working alongside other agents. We're beginning to build quite the network!

You'll also have access to:

• Recruitment support and recruitment calls
• Promotion and player marketing strategies
• My football network and industry contacts
• Deal support and negotiation guidance
• Ongoing mentoring and accountability

If we complete deals together, I'll pay back your mentorship fees.
That makes it a genuine win-win opportunity.

At Sports BE, we're not interested in putting as many people as possible through courses.

We want good people in the industry.

People who want to work professionally.
People who want to create opportunities for players.
People who want to build a sustainable business.

That's why I offer a pass guarantee on the FIFA Football Agent Exam training and why I repay mentorship fees through successful collaboration.

My background is in high performance sporting environments. I have high expectation for myself and those I work with (agents and client).

I focus on results.

Every mentoring relationship is different.

I don't work from a script. I look at your situation, your strengths, your challenges, and help you find solutions.

There is no time limit.
We work at your pace.
The support lasts the duration of your career (or my career)

There will be areas you struggle with.
Some will be football related.
Some will be personal development.

There will be times when you need to step outside your comfort zone.
Growth usually happens there.

All I ask is that you bring a willingness to learn, dedicate time to building your strategy, and commit to taking action.
If you do that, I'll be there every step of the way.
