Want to learn how to BREATHE your baby out?
It’s all about connecting to your body, making sure you actually know how to access the pelvic floor.
Then you need to coordinate breathing + pelvic floor movement.
And lastly you gotta understand how to consciously relax the muscles of the pelvic floor.
This is exactly what I teach inside my pelvic floor masterclass, Birth-Ready Pelvic Floor.

Hi there, I'm Sarah! I'm a NYC-based mom of 3 and long-time yogi with a passion for teaching.
I am a pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise specialist and a pre/postnatal yoga teacher.
I just came across this old video on my feed and a little voice in my head said somebody out there needed to see this today ❤️
👋 I’m Sarah, prenatal yoga teacher, pelvic floor expert, and mom of 3. My body’s changed a lot since having my babies, and sometimes it’s a very conscious choice to love and accept her.
And please know that for SO many moms (whether they realize it or not) the pelvic floor is often the sneaky issue behind why your body doesn’t look or feel the way you’re used to.
I created my pelvic floor masterclass as a starting point for exactly that—to help you get ready for birth and prevent / fix pelvic floor issues down the road.
❤️ If you feel me on this, leave a comment. Let’s chat :)

If you’ve ever heard of the “fear-tension-pain cycle,” that’s EXACTLY what I’m talking about here.
The thing is, it doesn’t have to be that way!!
Learning how your pelvic floor works so you can consciously relax it during birth goes a LONG way.
This conscious relaxation is the thing that allows you to:
🌊 ride the waves of contractions
💨 move your labor along
🐣 open up your body for baby to exit
This is exactly what I teach inside my Birth-Ready Pelvic Floor masterclass.

It’s actually quite simple:
If you feel tension build in your shoulders,
you’re probably building tension in your pelvic floor!
(And this goes for your glutes, your jaw, basically your whole body.)
And pelvic floor tension is NOT your friend in labor & pushing.
Pelvic floor tension can be the reason behind a long labor, a labor that doesn’t progress (and ends in c-section), or tearing.
The key here is learning specific relaxation techniques that allow your body (and your pelvic floor) to let go.
This is exactly what I talk about in my pelvic floor masterclass, Birth-Ready Pelvic Floor: Why Kegels Aren’t the Answer.

It’s all about…
The MIND-BODY CONNECTION
Birth education, hearing positive stories, incorporating birth affirmations into your life—these are all part of it!
Train your mind to relax your body, and relaxing your body means the pelvic floor can actually move out of the way to let your labor progress and your baby get out!
I teach you exactly how to do this in my pelvic floor masterclass.

Here’s what it IS about 👇
Relaxation.
Release.
Surrender.
When it comes to your pelvic floor, all that needs to happen in the push phase is for the muscles to open and get out of the way!
If you’ve ever heard of someone breathing their baby out, this is exactly that!!
And that’s why we practice pelvic floor exercises like this:
⬇️ Inhale, release, feel the muscles stretch down
⬆️ Exhale, contract, feel the muscles lift up
🔁 Repeat!
And if you’re already dealing with pee-sneezing, tailbone pain, painful in*******se, or prolapse, this simple pelvic floor exercise is the perfect place to start!
🧠 I go way more in depth in all of this in my 30-min Birth-Ready Pelvic Floor class.

You’ve been told to “just do your kegels.”
But what if that’s EXACTLY why nothing is improving? 👀
Most people think you need to strengthen your pelvic floor. But a tight, overactive pelvic floor is a weak pelvic floor!
If you can’t fully relax those muscles, you may face longer labor, unnecessary tearing, or deal with things like prolapse, pee-sneezing, and painful s*x.
You don’t need hours of exercises.
You DO need to understand how your pelvic floor actually works so you can prep it for labor and give yourself the best possible chance at the birth you’re envisioning.
