The 49th Annual Lippitt Country Show is pleased to continue its annual tradition of celebrating the versatility of The Lippitt Morgan.
This special equine event features competitions in DRESSAGE (open to all breeds) on August 11, 2023. The dressage will be affiliated with the Champlain Dressage Schooling Shows and the judge is Joy Congdon of Shelburne VT. There will be a wonderful POT LUCK SUPPER on Friday August 11, 2023 right after the dressage. No need to bring food to the pot luck, there is plenty of food for everyone.
Saturday August 12, 2023 is a jam packed day featuring Lippitt Morgan in-hand classes, followed by saddle and carriage performance classes. The judge is Terri Page of Warren RI. (NOTE: there are classes for the Full Lippitt Morgan and there are classes OPEN to all Morgan Horses). Following ring classes, Saturday continues with the ever exciting TROTTING RACES and the annual EGG TOSS. At 6PM the LASAGNA DINNER provides wonderful food with great horse people and conversation. At 7PM our LIVE AUCTION offers a huge number of donated items from tack to antiques.
Sunday August 13, 2023 continues with ring classes and many of the championships. All competitions take place at the Tunbridge Fairgrounds, Tunbridge, VT.
The 49th Annual Lippitt Country Show is open to the public, and all are invited to join us for this fun-filled event!
