Job Title: Bilingual Salesperson (Spanish/English) at Liberty Cycles

Job Description:
Seeking a customer-oriented Bilingual Salesperson (Spanish/English) for Liberty Cycles. Assist customers in selecting bikes, provide exceptional service, and drive sales. Fluent in Spanish and English, you'll communicate effectively with diverse customers, ensuring a personalized experience.

Responsibilities:
1. Provide outstanding customer service and expert advice on bikes and accessories.
2. Assist customers in selecting suitable bikes based on their preferences and needs.
3. Process sales transactions accurately and maintain records.
4. Conduct bike fittings and adjustments to ensure proper fit and safety.
5. Address customer inquiries, resolve concerns, and uphold store policies.
6. Maintain an appealing store environment and collaborate with the team.
7. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling bike accessories.

Qualifications:
1. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
2. Sales experience in a similar retail environment.
3. Passion for cycling and strong product knowledge.
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
5. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle cash transactions.
6. Flexible and able to work collaboratively in a team.
7. Physically capable of lifting and moving bicycles.

Liberty Cycle's bike mechanic internship is for those with an interest in fixing and maintaining bikes. While in the internship you will learn basic bike mechanics, gain retail and customer service experience. Prior mechanics or job experience is NOT required. This is an unpaid opportunity that will run through the winter months. Interns that demonstrate strong potential will be offered a paid position in the Spring as we ramp up for a busy 2022 summer.

We're looking for candidates who would bring customer service experience, value, and be a good fit within our team. We are a small team, so you need to bring a strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and common sense.

PRIMARY ROLES:
Provide top-notch customer service to ensure customers get the products they need.
Assist customers through the checkout process of rentals, bike storage, custom bike builds, general sales, and other services we offer.
Updating and managing tickets on our POS
Adhere to company work safety policies
Undertake other duties assigned to you by your supervisor
Managing inventory - keep track of inventory and supplies needed in the shop
Help uphold and never tarnish Liberty's outstanding reputation
Common sense & a good attitude
Learn the industry and understand the products we offer on a technical level
Constantly strive to acquire greater skill levels & overall knowledge in this exciting and ever-evolving industry
Ability to follow established procedures, workflow, and practices and read instruction, blueprints, etc.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to exhibit extreme patience when the situation requires it
Ability to self-manage daily schedule and ensure all tasks are completed as assigned
Successfully navigating a team environment / a team player
Become an active and reliable member of the team

Made it to the Dam! Rode from Tarrytown to New Croton Dam via the Old Croton Aqueduct trail. It was more bumpy than I expected but nothing the Diverge could handle (but suspension fork would be nice🤔)! Really enjoyed the ride 🚲

So happy with my latest addition 😍 Love the Diverge I got another one! I tuned this one to be more like a road bike since I’ll use the other one for off-road rides. I felt like I was flying effortlessly on the roads!!! Hope my other Diverge doesn’t get jealous 🤨 Thanks to and for building the bike 💪
