Evander Holyfield reveals the hardest punch he ever took, and it wasn't from Mike Tyson… it was from George Foreman, at age 42.

Holyfield confided:

“The guy who hit me the hardest was George Foreman. He landed one punch in the 11th round, and when I got back to my corner, I asked, ‘Did he knock all my teeth out?’ They told me, ‘You're fine,’ but in boxing, they'll tell you anything!”

“I thought I'd lost my teeth. After the fight, I asked what he'd thrown at me. They told me, ‘A right loop.’ A right loop, you don't see it coming because it starts wide and drops suddenly. I had my hands in a guard, and he went right between them. I didn't see it.”

“In the 12th round, I held my own a lot. In the press conference, they told me, ‘You must have been hanging on.’ But I had dominated my left and right, I wasn’t going to let him knock me out in one round.”

“I had to hold my own. I wasn’t going to let a guy win with one punch. He came out in the 12th looking to finish me, so I caught him and held him.”

One punch. In the 11th round. From a 42-year-old man.
