New York City Disc Golf Association

Yesterday, the NYC DGA hosted its second annual tournament at Prospect Park in Brooklyn: The Camperdown Ice Bowl. We had 31 city frolfers (an increase from 5 last year) crazy enough to wake up at 7 a.m. in the middle of winter to come play some disc golf in New York City! The day was a resounding success, and we were able to raise some money for a good cause to boot!

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making this tournament happen. Without the passion that disc golfers bring to the sport, we’d have no momentum to build on. Can’t wait to see where this year takes us, but this was a great way to start! 🥏⛳️

Since we started last August, BDGC has had some great moments, from hosting an professional led clinic to to running a pop-up tournament in Prospect Park. It has been really great to watch this group grow and have fun together.

If you love disc golf but want to avoid the hassle of leaving the city, come join us on Sunday’s! We meet at Prospect Park almost every Sunday (unless we’re venturing out to a course)
