How much does coaching cost?

The first of many questions I get.

And I get it, money is important.

It makes the world go round.

But also, ask yourself

How much do you value…

Your confidence to take pictures of yourself (without hunting for the perfect angle)?

Your ability to age without falling into the same foot steps as your parents and relatives?

Taking your shirt off without cringing or feeling ashamed?

The time you’ve already wasted trying to do it yourself?

Are those really worth less than all the bs that’s gotten you into your current situation?

Coaching is much cheaper than you think.

In fact, my clients tell me they end up SAVING money because they’re not splurging every week on random stuff.

So the question isn’t if coaching is worth it

It’s what do you value?

Do you value…

How you look…

How you feel…

What the one body you’ll have for the rest of your life is capable of?

Then coaching is worth every single cent.

If you don’t, then it’s not 🤷🏻‍♂️

But if you made it this far, I’m guessing you’re on the fence

Stop thinking and pull the trigger.

The only regret you’ll have is that you didn’t start sooner.

Shoot me a DM and I’ll see you on the other side.

Just some more thoughts expanded👇🏽

1. It has literally been proven that learning gives us a false sense of accomplishment.

So don’t forget to go apply the things you learn.

Plus, doing will teach you so much more than “learning” ever will.

2. There’s no use in chasing a million dollar figure salary or bank account

When you later have to spend all that money on medical bills later on.

3. I’m going to be honest.

I made a ton of gains doing exclusively barbel lifting.

The bottom line was that I still trained hard and heavy, pushed myself to progressive overload every session, and sufficiently fueled my body.

But because I never did anything else, I ended up with random joint pains (that everyone told me was normal).

It wasn’t until I started rotating my exercises that I saw my injuries fade away.

4. They say that if you want to achieve things most others don’t achieve, then you have to do things most others won’t do.

For most people, it’s shying away from the discomfort and the hard stuff.

If you can just think of what you’re currently avoiding and neglecting and you go and conquer that thing?

Then congrats, you’ve already done more than most people.

5. This one is gonna hit all the self-proclaimed “foodies” out there.

Cravings are 100% mental.

You’re literally convincing yourself that you “need” to eat a certain food.

It’s all in your head.

That’s not to say *don’t* enjoy good food from time to time.

But you’re not gonna die if you say no to food just this once.

6. I’ve been asking myself why so many people (including myself) in America feel alone yet living in such large cities.

And then I realized it’s literally by design.

You spend 70% of your day alone in a car stuck in traffic both ways.

Work is the only social interaction you get.

And then by the time you get off work and the weekend rolls around, you don’t want to drive anymore to go anywhere.

Don’t get me wrong, I love a good drive now and then, but we shouldn’t feel like the car is the ONLY way to get around.

Who’s actually tryna get gains and be like the 4th slide tho….💪🏽

It’s easy to go “let me try it out on my own first.”

Believe me, I’m the same exact way.

I used to think that asking for help meant there was something wrong with me.

That I was “too dumb, stupid, or not disciplined enough” to figure it out myself.

But what happened every time I was afraid to ask for help?

I would set vague goals I wanted to achieve that had no meaning and zero planning.

I would try very hard at it for a month or two.

Then eventually life had me busy with other stuff and I never stuck with my goals.

And I bet this is a common theme for you this time of the year.

You’re super motivated. January 2024. New Year. Fresh start.

But inevitably by March and April things kinda fade out…

…until January 2025.

I know because I’ve LIVED it myself.

Until I got over my OWN ego and reached out for help.

Literally no one else will say that you can’t do it.

Or shame you for needing help.

Because even though it might feel like you’re the only one going through these thoughts and feelings

I can guarantee that many others are feeling the same too.

And by asking for help, you might inspire those around you to seek help too.

Wouldn’t that be something?

So if you’re tired of constantly trying to figure it out yourself

And want to actually stay consistent through the rest of the year

Then DM and let’s chat more about coaching.

Every New Year looks like this…

What does your gym routine look like right now?

Walking in there and figuring things out as you go?

Some plan you’re still following from months or years ago?

A random program you pulled off some website from Google?

Or better yet, you don’t even have one…

This leads to one of two things…

You go to the gym when you “feel like it”

Use whatever equipment is available

Don’t see the changes you want in the mirror

Stop setting foot in the gym due to frustration

Leave your gym membership untouched because you have no program

Because what’s even the point in going?

Until you feel s**tty about your body again

And you end up repeating this cycle all over again.

What if it didn’t have to be like that?

What if you actually made use of that membership drafting your account every month?

What if you had a plan telling you exactly what to do and how to do it every week?

What if you had consistent touchpoints with someone

To give your gym sessions true purpose and direction?

You would feel exactly like how my client did here.

Now, every time she steps foot into the gym:

She knows exactly what she needs to get done.

She has no doubts, stress, or anxiety about her program.

She has no problem she can’t solve with my help.

She sees real progress changes in the mirror every week.

If you’re ready to take things seriously and have purpose and direction

And want this year to look completely different compared to previous years

Then shoot me a DM

That’s it, we’re doomed.

What a weird time to be alive.

You now have TOO much information for your own good.

We now have things SO good that

Every podcast, video, and article you watch & read…

Is focused on trying to “optimize” your life.

Whether that’s finding the perfect workout split to optimize stimulus and recovery.

Or following specific diets so you can optimize health and live forever while looking like an absolute specimen.

Or spending copious amounts of money to make sure every single vitamin and mineral accounted for.

Otherwise, it’s all for nothing right?

If you don’t optimize every single angle of your arm path while shoulder pressing

Or get exactly 200g of organic, grass fed spinach.

Or take in exactly 300 IU of vitamin D through 6.32 minutes of perineum sun exposure.

Otherwise, you’re done for.

Such an ironic time.

In the age where we have access to the most information in history

We struggle to make informed decisions.

I remember back in the day 13 years ago.

The best “fitness information” we got was going into bodybuilding dot com forums and talking to randos.

And somehow we got decent results 🤷🏻‍♂️

Not because I think the information we got was solid.

But because we went directly from learning to applying.

Not so much of this constant debate and arguing

And then by the time you finished, you’ve wasted all this time making absolutely zero gains.

So promise me one thing in 2024 k?

Stop thinking so damn much about what to do.

Because you likely have all the information you’ll ever need (and then some)

And just get s**t done and move forward.

K. Happy New Year ya filthy animal.

Amazing what can happen when you show up for yourself consistently.

Despite constantly traveling for work and vacations.

Actually making use of your hotel fitness center perk.

And choosing to be health-conscious when you’re eating out.

Instead of the usual “if I can’t be perfect then I can’t get it done.”

Where you just focus on eating clean and boring for the entire week

Realize you hate your life

And then get takeout for the entire weekend.

Or where you spend endless amounts of time on socials to learn about fitness

And you end up even more confused than when you started

So you never actually get to do your workouts.

Or when you tell yourself “I’ll get to my fitness when things calm down”

Only to never get around to it when you get home because your couch looks lonely.

What if you had someone behind your back to figure all your workouts for you

(and make no gym access an excuse of the past)

And had you actually show up for yourself

So you can start making gains instead of excuses.

Amazing what can happen in just a few short months if you had the right help.

Shoot me a DM if you’re ready to make the next few months the best few months ever.

The real reason why you’re making zero progress👇🏽

It’s not your friends always inviting you out.

It’s not your family shaming you to eat more.

It’s not the holidays throwing you off track.

It’s not because you have too much work to do.

And listen, before you say

“Wow okay way to be an insensitive di****ad Austin.”

Let me just say this.

Sure, these things do come up and they’re out of your control. I get it.

But you’re also in control of how you react to these situations.

Many of my online coaching clients are just like you.

They have lives outside of fitness.

They are celebrating the holidays.

They don’t have access to a gym.

The coworkers are bringing in endless amounts of treats.

They look in the mirror some days and barely see changes and feel like giving up.

But the difference when they started working with me is that they’ve changed how they react.

Instead of looking for excuses as to why they can’t stay consistent

They look for solutions to how they still can get it done.

So if you want to become a solution seeker yourself and are tired of excusing your own bad behaviors

Then shoot me a DM and let’s get started.

Want another boring ass meal plan (that you’re not going to follow anyway)…

That only has you eating boring ass chicken broccoli and rice…

And says you can’t swap out broccoli for carrots or onions?

Then I’m not your guy, pal.

(Also, bonus points if you get that reference)

Sure you got into your best shape.

And the coach you hired to help you do it looks phenomenal.

But if every time you open up your meal prep container a part of you dies inside

How long do you think you’re going to be able to sustain it?

I know at first it sounds easier to have a coach tell you what to eat when to eat, and how to eat it.

But for one, this teaches you nothing about what to do when you don’t have a meal plan.

And secondly, you’re not a child, you might as well ask your coach to feed you num nums at that point.

You need to be taught about your diet in a way that helps you

-Build some solid muscle and get you chiseled in the right places

-Be able to have those weekend socials without gaining everything back

-Actual make sense of everything instead of trying to follow the same generic advice you hear everywhere.

So if you want to get a headstart during the holidays and want to make 2024 your b*tch, then DM me for more info.

It’s easy to forget to take care of yourself.

Hell, I’ve had my fair share of struggles these past few months.

Between packing my life into 3 suitcases and a couple of bags and boxes.

To moving across the country only to have everything I had planned for months in advance fall apart.

(my housing and initial job prospects fell through)

As you can imagine, I was frustrated and anxious.

Thinking about my workout schedule and diet obviously weren’t top priorities…

It became easier to talk myself out of going to the gym (even though it was a 2-minute walk away).

I got lazy about cooking and just bought a bunch of frozen junk to save time.

I became a bit hesitant about breaking out my scale to look at how much weight I’ve gained.

But after all the bargaining, I managed to get myself to go to the gym at 8pm every day.

(mainly because I ran out of excuses at this hour lol)

And every time I finished working out…

I felt LESS frustrated and anxious (even though initially it felt like I was wasting time).

Just simply being at the gym…

It forced me to slow down and focus on something else for an hour.

It allowed me to feel refreshed and more focused going back to my previous tasks.

It also gave me a nice boost of dopamine from not sitting on my ass all day lol.

And ultimately, this experience allowed me to empathize with a lot of my new clients and you.

You might have a ton on your plate like

Making sure performing well at your job or business (to put food on the table and a roof over your head).

Taking care of other human beings.

Or just simply showing up for anything/anyone else important in your life.

But never forget that to care for others…

You must first care for yourself.

You can’t pour out of an empty 🤷🏻‍♂️
