Do you understand how your body works?

Most movement programs just give you exercises. This one changes the way your body works.

The difference is where we start. Before we touch posture or strength or flexibility, we work with your nervous system, specifically the part of you that has been gripping, bracing, and holding since the last time something stressed you out. Most programs skip this entirely and it's why results don’t last.

Your tight hips, your stiff back, and the strength work that never seems to translate often isn't a flexibility problem or a fitness problem, rather it's your body running on patterns it built to protect you, and never getting the chance to reset.

When we address that first, everything else changes. Mobility comes back and stays, strength builds on a foundation that’s actually stable, and your posture stops being something you have to think about and starts being something your body just does.

I’ve been teaching this work for over twenty years. I built Welcome to Your Body because I kept seeing people who had done everything right and still felt stuck, and I know how to help.

I start every session the same way. "How is your body feeling today?"

I am not looking for a specific answer, I am just listening! Sometimes it is stress, low back tightness, shoulders, exhaustion. Sometimes people say they feel completely disconnected and do not know where to start.
That question is a habit worth building with yourself. Checking in creates awareness and awareness is where everything starts.

Your body is talking, but most people have not learned to listen yet.

Welcome To Your Body is program I created after years of helping people who felt stuck in pain, tension, compensation patterns, poor posture, weak cores, tight hips, neck tension, glutes that wouldn’t activate, and bodies that never truly felt supported.

This is not just another workout program.

It’s a step by step system designed to help you understand your body, improve alignment, breathe properly, rebuild functional strength, and move through life feeling stronger, more supported, and more connected to yourself.

And yes… when your body functions better, you look different too! Your posture changes, your presence changes, and so does the way you carry yourself.

This program is the foundation of everything I teach and I’m so excited to finally reintroduce it

Ribcage alignment changes everything because your ribcage connects your breath, core, pelvis, spine, shoulders, and neck

When the ribcage is out of alignment, the body starts compensating. The core struggles to engage properly, the neck and shoulders grip, the lower back takes more pressure, and breathing becomes shallow.

When the ribs stack more naturally over the pelvis, the body can stabilize, breathe, and move more efficiently. Posture improves, tension decreases, and the body often looks and feels stronger almost immediately.

This is why I focus on ribcage alignment so much inside Welcome To Your Body, my new foundation program

This is the thing most strength training completely misses!

A muscle that cannot fully release cannot fully contract. So, learn to relax to then learn how to strengthen. 💪

I knew for years that breath was the answer. I just didn’t know how to actually do it. Nobody had ever shown me where to direct it, how to create it, how to control it. I was dancing multiple hours a day, working incredibly hard, and had almost no real core support because of it. My spine, my hips, my knees were all taking on load they weren’t meant to carry. That’s how I ended up with two herniated discs and stress fractures at sixteen.

And beyond the physical, breathing wrong was keeping my nervous system in a constant low hum of stress. Shallow breath tells your body it’s not safe. Your body responds by holding on tighter. The anxiety lives in your muscles, your hips, your jaw, and eventually you stop noticing it because it just starts to feel like you.

When I finally learned where to send the breath, into the back body, the side ribs, the places I had never thought to fill, things I had been carrying for years started to release. For the first time I understood what real core support felt like: breathing without gripping or bracing.

That’s where Welcome to Your Body begins. Because without this, nothing else works the way it should.

Standing is not automatically better than sitting if you are standing with poor alignment.

The body does not just respond to positions. It responds to how you hold those positions.

If you are hanging into your lower back, locking your knees, gripping your shoulders, or collapsing into your hips while standing, your body is still under stress.

The real key is variety and support.

Switch positions. Move often. Change inputs throughout the day. Sit, stand, walk, stretch, breathe.

Your body thrives on movement variability, not staying stuck in one position all day, even if that position is standing. ⭐️

Most people are training strength from the outside in, gripping muscles and creating tension.

And if your body does not have deep internal support, it compensates.

That is why so many people deal with:
• tight necks and shoulders
• lower back pain
• weak cores that constantly grip
• tension that stretching never fixes

Building strength from the inside out means focusing on the foundation first:
• breath
• alignment
• pressure management
• deep core and pelvic floor support
• nervous system regulation

When those systems work together, your body stops fighting itself.

You feel stronger, more supported, more mobile, and less tense without forcing it.

This is the kind of strength people are missing. ⭐️

Most people train muscles.
Very few train movement.

Can you sit down with control?
Stand without collapsing into your hips or lower back?
Maintain alignment while breathing?

That’s functional strength.

And the best part?
You practice it all day long.

How many times do you sit down and stand up throughout the day? Every repetition is either helping build support in your body or creating more wear and tear through compensation patterns.

Alignment, breath, and movement mechanics change everything.

You probably don’t think about your nervous system. You just know your shoulders live up by your ears, your lower back is always a little off, and you feel wired but also exhausted. You’re not getting the results you want at the gym no matter how hard you work. You feel stiff, inflexible, maybe even afraid to push too hard because something always seems to go wrong.

That’s not a fitness problem, that's a foundation problem.

Your body has been running on patterns it built to protect you, gripping, bracing, compensating, and it never got the memo that things are okay now. Those patterns are why the stretching doesn’t hold, the strength work doesn’t translate, and the anxiety lives in your body even when your mind knows you’re fine.

Until you address that first, everything else is just maintenance.
Welcome to Your Body starts at the root. We reset the system, release what’s been stuck, and build from a place your body can actually work from.

This is the fitness program I wish I’d had years ago and I finally made it.
