We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the partners, volunteers, and community members who joined us throughout the month to share compassion, resources, and nourishment. Your generosity continues to make a powerful impact.

This month, we had the privilege of providing food for over 1000 families, offering free haircuts and manicures, giving away winter coats and clothing, and showcasing our STEAM afterschool program—highlighting the powerful role community engagement plays in strengthening our school community.

We also had the honor of celebrating a true East Flatbush legend, Busta Rhymes, with a stunning mural created by our afterschool participants alongside artist Kenny Altidore.

All of this was made possible through our incredible partnerships with PS 135, NYC Community Schools, Assembly Member Monique Chandler-Waterman, I Am Wonder Woman Foundation Inc., and the The Blessing Don’t Stop So We Won’t Stop Initiative.

Serving the under-served remains at the core of our mission, and we are truly blessed to have such a dedicated village standing with us every step of the way.

We hope you and your loved ones enjoyed a warm and meaningful Thanksgiving filled with peace, joy, and connection.

East Flatbush Village, Inc. is profoundly grateful for the opportunity to give back and uplift our community—today and always.
