It is with great sadness that we must inform you that Ludlow Fitness will not be reopening. This decision is painful and disappointing after 14 years of delivering fitness to the LES.

Thank you for your commitment to Ludlow Fitness and please stay safe and healthy wherever your health and fitness goals take you!

Exercise is all about being physically and mentally healthy at the same time. A good workout does a lot more than just help you get in shape – it helps regulate your mood as well, improving your wellbeing on every level.

In the words of Jim Rohn, “Take care of your body. It’s the only place you have to live.” One of the best ways to take care of your body is with regular daily exercise. Whether your exercise routine is strength training or yoga, the best thing you can do for yourself is to just keep exercising. Your body will thank you for it!

If you’re working remotely and social distancing, it can be hard to stay focused on your fitness goals. Now more than ever, you should remind yourself why you started: to be the best version of yourself that you can possibly be. That hasn’t changed! Take time every day for your workout routine.

“What I enjoy most about fitness is how objective it is. What you put in is exactly what you get back. Nothing more, nothing less.” – AJ Ellison. You know why you first decided to start working out – to get the kind of results AJ Ellison is talking about. Those results will be yours. All you have to do is stick with the program!

Nothing feels better than regular exercise. It gives you that happy, healthy glow that other people can see, beyond the changes to your level of fitness. Here’s the thing, though… it only works if it’s regular. If you’re inconsistent, it will always be harder to get started again after you take a break. Stick with your fitness routine and you’ll feel better every day!

It isn’t just about exercise. A healthy lifestyle means a lot of things, from eating nourishing food to taking the time to relax. Most important of all is to keep moving as much as possible – whether that means taking the stairs instead of the elevator or sticking to your daily workout goals.

Muhammad Ali once said that he hated every minute of training, but that he always told himself not to quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion, that was Ali’s motto. At Ludlow Fitness, we know that it can sometimes be challenging to keep up with your workout routine. As with anything else, the payoff comes with time – you’ll feel healthier, happier, and more energetic in your daily life if you don’t stop training!

Our minds and bodies depend on each other for total wellness, and improving one aspect of our well-being increases our overall health. Studies have shown that just thirty minutes of moderate exercise, three days a week, can elevate our mood, reduce stress, and generally improve our mental and emotional health.

If you are working out but not seeing results, remember that consistency is key! 🔑
Work on the consistency at which you exercise and make sure you stay at it. Exercise and fitness should be about living a healthy lifestyle and continuing that lifestyle for the rest of your life. With that, you HAVE to find a level of consistency within your workout routine. That doesn’t mean that you have to work out every day or keep the same schedule, but it does mean making sure that you are regularly working out.
