Happy World Theater Day! The theater-going experience is a huge part of Rosie’s Theater Kids and we are so proud to say our students have been attending Broadway performances since the early 2000s. Check out the slide from our PS 130 students attending the 2001 Broadway revival of 42nd Street, to the more recent performances we have attended, including Buena Vista Club featuring an RTKids alum - full circle!

We are thrilled to have our students perform with the stunning for our Passing It On Gala on Monday the 30th! Her artistry and generosity on stage are incredibly inspiring. Thank you Hannah for sharing your gifts with our community!

Tim Johnson, longtime friend, champion, educator and mentor of RTKids, has written and directed a spoken word piece for this year’s Gala. Tim’s thoughtful guidance and attention to every detail and moment have brought a new level of artistry to our students’ work.
