Another PR in the books. My man came to me to gain strength and get more fit. You want to get strong we gonna lift. 205 for a 3 rm with room to move. When we started 100 # felt like a far away thing , now we are looking ahead to 300! LFG.

Summit earned.

Mel put in the time and did the work. Early mornings, long weekend hikes, thousands of steps, and training sessions squeezed in around a full work schedule. No shortcuts. No excuses.

This wasn’t just a trip to Mount Kilimanjaro. This was months of preparation built on discipline.

One of the biggest breakthroughs was nutrition. Mel was under fueling and simply not eating enough to support the training load. Once we fixed that, especially during long hikes, everything changed. Energy improved, recovery improved, and performance followed.

You don’t summit Uhuru Peak by accident. You earn it.

5,895 meters. Africa’s highest point. A memory of a lifetime. An accomplishment 99.9999 percent of the world will never experience.

The result speaks loudly, but the process mattered most.

If you’re struggling right now or things feel harder than they should… that’s normal.

Life isn’t linear. Progress isn’t linear. Success definitely isn’t linear.

What most people see is the top — the win, the result, the “overnight success.”
What they don’t see are the late nights, the setbacks, the doubts, the sacrifices, the mistakes, the failures, and the days where you question if it’s even worth it.

That part is the work.
That part is the process.

There will be ups and downs. There will be days you feel locked in and days you feel off. None of that means you’re failing — it means you’re human and you’re doing something that actually matters.

Stay disciplined when motivation fades.
Keep showing up when it gets uncomfortable.
Trust that consistency over time beats perfection every single time.

Keep going. You’re closer than you think.

Happy New Year everyone 🎉

A new year is always a great reminder to pause, reflect, and look ahead. It’s a chance to reset, refocus, and set intentions for the person you want to become.

This past year brought a lot of change for me, welcoming our daughter Angelina, buying our first home, and starting a new chapter in a new town. Like any year, it had its ups and downs, but those challenges are where the most growth happens.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to help so many people work toward becoming healthier, stronger, and more confident versions of themselves. That’s something I truly love doing, and it continues to motivate me every day.

As we head into 2026, I encourage you to set your goals, write them down, and commit to showing up for yourself. Small consistent steps make a huge difference.

Thankful for everyone in my life and everyone who continues to support this journey. Let’s make this year our best yet — strong, focused, and healthy.

Start in a push-up position.
Tap hand to opposite shoulder.
Same elbow to same knee.
Cross knee to opposite elbow.
Finish with a controlled leg lift on each side.

Stay tight through the core, keep the hips steady, and move with intention. Slow it down if you need to—quality always wins.
