Tips and Tricks of the Great Followers

What makes a great Follower?
It’s not the dress, or the shoes, or even what you look like; it’s what the Follower is doing inside the partnership to create a wonderful experience for both themself and their partner.
In this workshop we will work with some of the Tips and Tricks of good Followers and will be doing exercises both individually and with fellow Followers.
You can wear practice shoes or heels and all genders are welcome but the focus will be on Follower techniques!

I will be teaching this workshop at TRIANGULO tomorrow This workshop is for both leaders and followers and will include quite a bit of partner work in addition to solo experimentation. I am excited about this exploration and am looking forward to sharing it with you.

This Saturday Carina Moeller and I are teaching a joint workshop in Followers technique. We will be addressing the kind of body conditioning that one needs to to truly express oneself in the role of Follower as well issues of timing, articulation, and musicality that allow a Follower to truly dance.
