Long-term future of Gaelic Park secured - Hoganstand.com 10/08/2015

Fans and club members of the NY tri-state area's home of hurling, camogie & Gaelic football... click your heels three times and say it with us: 'There's no place like home.'

"After four years of operating on a month-to-month basis, New York GAA has welcomed the news that it has been offered a long-term lease on Gaelic Park by the MTA (10 year, we're told).

"The security of the long-term lease will now pave the way for the long-awaited renovation of the Park and will allow for new dressing rooms, medical facilities, offices and a referee’s room as well as a significant upgrading of the ballroom and dining area."

Cap tip from Hoboken Guards Hurling & Camogie club officers and members to all the New York GAA County Board and fellow club officers who stayed the course. We continue working towards improving and solidifying our unique, historically rich home turf so that current & future athletes of all cultures can experience - on the field or in the stands - Gaelic Games in NY.
