There will be preliminary Tryouts for the World Games Teams going back to Ireland next year *this Sunday* at 10AM in Gaelic Park. Session is open to both players looking to tryout for NY's expats team and the american born team.
Players are asked to wear gear for tryout as we will be taking pictures for social media and other news outlets on the day and bring their own helmet and sticks. Please be present by 9:45AM.
Damien Coleman former Connacht Railway Cup coach and current Portumna Club chairman and Connacht Council Hurling Director will be taking the session
All clubs are asked to send a minimum of 4/5 Hurlers to session.

"After four years of operating on a month-to-month basis, New York GAA has welcomed the news that it has been offered a long-term lease on Gaelic Park by the MTA (10 year, we're told).
"The security of the long-term lease will now pave the way for the long-awaited renovation of the Park and will allow for new dressing rooms, medical facilities, offices and a referee’s room as well as a significant upgrading of the ballroom and dining area."

CANCELLED: Tonight's hurling skills development training - which takes place Thursday nights throughout September and October - has been cancelled for tonight due to thunderstorms and rain expected during our 8-10pm time slot.
We will see any interested male or female hurlers or new addition to our club next Thursday night at 8 pm, 1600 Park Ave Field in Hoboken! All skill levels welcome and encouraged to join us for striking, drills, introductory basics of hurling and a bit of fitness!
