Moments after the . What a wonderful race, a challenging course with lots of changes in elevation but the amazing spectators keep you pushing on. Due to travel I had to employ a low volume training cycle which was perfect. If you are a busy person with a goal to run a marathon or an older runner who can’t put in the long miles or volume let me know would be happy to share my plan details with you all. Fun times crossing off another major marathon.

Won the race!! Without a chip 😔 Yup! Misread the race details an thought they would have the packets at the start line of last nights trail race. .aceves. An amazingly organized race with great support. Getting close to the line I allowed the guy behind me to take the lead and finishing picture. Never want to take that moment away from anyone. Congrats to the official winner!!
Now how many of you have done something like this before?

Loving the cooler temps and thin air in Colorado. Has been really nice just enjoying some easy running. Was a bit bummed because I decided to not do participate in the in March due to not being about to train correctly these past two months. But now refocused I’m getting stronger, faster and doing the this year. At times we just need to refocus our goal and push forward. — special thanks to they sent over these sweet shorts. Highly recommend for those looking for comfort the waistband is amazing! Great job guys!!!

Loving the early morning crisp air and the altitude training benefits of being in such a beautiful part of Colorado. — As I turn my focus on to the core work and speed will be an esential part of training. Not to mention that flexibility, nutrition and core strength is something you will see me working on a lot this season. Who else has these priorities this year and who will be running the New York City Marathon with me?

Topping off 2018 with a few cold miles. The New Years brings lots of great opportunities and it’s a perfect time to goal set. Today I did an instagram and Facebook live talking about the importance of planning your training seasons and provided a bunch of tips on how you can also start the planning.
— How many of you already have registers for your 2019 goal race.
— Have you set other events to help you reach your goal in 2019?
Would love to hear where you are in your planning.
Need some help? Just let me know.

It’s taken a few days to get used to running in the cold and high altitude. For now an adjustment in my trining plan is a must. Who else has had to adjust goals or training plans this season?
