Mind Your Body Inc. opened in 1991 with owner Gail Giovanniello and one friend teaching. The studio has grown to two locations on Lexington Ave., on the upper east side of NYC, close in proximity, creating a one studio, neighborhood vibe. Our studio includes The Art of Movement through GYROTONIC®️, over twenty group classes and mentorship with Gail. Gail’s is trained by Kelly Kane and Deborah Lessen and keeps the standards of the Pilates methods to its original format, though she welcomes other fitness modalities that fit within. The studios are serious but fun and all fitness levels and ages welcomed. The private instruction is personalized and educational. Most of our clients will comment, “I wish I had started this 20 years ago!”
