It's been the honor of a lifetime and my longest lasting dream to have owned this NYC small business for the last 23 years, and have worked in it since 1996. Thank you for making this dream a reality for the past 30 unforgettable years.Thank you to all who have reached out with encouraging words, sharing that this place transcended retail became a safe haven for commuters, aficionados, messengers, delivery workers, and families. Though the shop has been a fixture since the 90s, witnessing the city's evolution through decades of change, it is time to say goodbye and allow the space to evolve into whatever its future holds. You have all been the beating heart of this place, and the stories, love, grief, and laughter we've shared will be my most precious takeaways. If you are nearby, stop in, share a hug. While our doors are closing by month's end, we hope our legacy inspires the next generation of local independent bike shops... I haven't 'spoke' this much ever, but it's finally time to say adios (Dad joke for my kids;)
