I work with private clients in the comfort of their own homes, as well as corporate clients, providing individualized vinyasa flow yoga classes.
My goal as a teacher is to bring balance to my students, providing them with skills that will help them both on and off the mat, and connecting them with their deepest self. My classes are vigorous, combining challenging physical postures and breath work, with particular emphasis on alignment. I completed my 200-hour training in Vinyasa yoga at Sonic Yoga’s Center for Yoga Studies in New York City and completed a mentorship at Sonic with senior teacher Johanna Bell.

Yoga is not something that comes immediately. It takes discipline and patience. This is one of the many lessons the practice teaches us.

People often tell me they are "bad" at yoga. I always tell them there is no such thing as being bad at yoga, but this is going to be my new response.

"Hatha Yoga teaches us to use the body as the bow, asana as the arrow, and the soul the target." - B.K.S. Iyengar.
The world has lost a true visionary. B.K.S Iyengar played an instrumental part in bringing the ancient tradition of yoga to the Western world. He will be deeply missed, but his light will shine on. Thank you, guru, for all that you did to inspire millions of souls around the world. May you rest in peace.
I found this video of the master doing asana in his 50s. Truly amazing! #

Today's quote of the day really struck a chord for me. So often we hear popular wisdom telling us to stay positive, which I think is valid and important, but sometimes I think it can lead to sweeping things under the rug and not dealing with reality. it is just as important to try and accept what is and sit with it, good or bad:
"These days, my practice is teaching me to embrace imperfection: to have compassion for all the ways things haven't turned out as planned in my body and in my life - for the ways things keep falling apart, and failing, and breaking down. It's less about fixing things and more about learning to be present for exactly what is." - Anne Cushman
