As Women’s History Month comes to a close, we recognize the woman who started it all — our President and one of the founders of the NYPD Dragon Boat Team.

A true leader on and off the water, Brittany is a Sergeant with 15 years of dedicated service to the team and the city of New York, and the driving force behind everything we’ve built. She leads the team with strength, discipline, and commitment.

Our Vice President and former team captain Liz Pizarro brings over 30 years of law enforcement experience as a retired NYPD Lieutenant and current Parkchester Captain — and that same leadership carries straight into the boat.

You’ll find her locked in at the front right, setting the pace, and motivating our members.
