This one is a tough one for me. Inverted teasers facing the back of the reformer, just one green spring. Articulating the spine vertebra by vertebra, adjusting your internal rhythm to meet the flow of the carriage—until you find that imperfect balance. Because no balance is ever perfect, only unique.
So here we go… some tries are better than others.

The jumping board is my go-to accessory for tuning my body on the reformer. Once I do my boring footwork exercises and warm up my hips and hamstrings, I move into second-tier exercises that include leg extensions and kicks. Then everything becomes exhilarating, and my body becomes lighter and eager to jump. The contrast of internalized movement and the freedom and joy of movement becomes one.
Mondays I go in on deep core—no shortcuts.
Unilateral hip work, cleaning up the imbalances that sneak in over time. I’m a strong lefty, so I have to stay honest—keep finding rotation, balance, and support on both sides.
Hips, hamstrings, low core… all talking to each other or nothing works. 🤪
Pilates on the jumping board is an essential part of my practice. Conditioning doesn’t have to be dull—it can be charged with excitement and reward. I don’t believe in aching through boredom; I believe in movement that awakens.
There’s something exhilarating about that suspended moment—when the body catches itself between air and gravity . In that space, strength meets awareness, and resistance becomes intention.
To push off is to resist—and right now, that feels like more than just movement.

‘Say NO to tech neck’ Open chest, lift collarbones, pull shoulders back, move often. Reversing and releasing tension around the collarbones and their connective pathways to the thoracic spine and shoulder joint will improve posture, reduce forward head strain, and restore optimal shoulder mechanics. This “salad” has a lot of ingredients—teasers, inverted parakeets, overheads, and semi planks. I tend to move best when I can flow from one movement to the next, letting the transitions carry me.
Strength shows up in different forms: some people find it in stillness, others in motion. For me, there’s always a space to negotiate between control and flow—where precision meets fluidity, and the body finds its own rhythm.
