The mission of the Zodiacs Track & Field Organization is to develop tomorrow’s young leaders within our own community. Using track and field as the catalyst we build self esteem through the satisfaction that comes from doing one’s best consistently. When our athletes see the progress that can occur through regular practice on the field they can carry over that concept to their studies. In this and other ways we encourage academic achievement . As much as we want our children to know the high morale and camaraderie that comes from team competition and victory – an equally important role of regular athletic activity is to develop life long healthful habits which will benefit them long after they’ve entered adulthood.
Zodiacs Track and Field meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm to 8pm at the track behind Truman High School. Please join us and be a part of history.
