Let me ask you something. Do you Cat Wave Butt Flower?
No? Well here’s why you should.
Our spine is meant to move in 3 anatomical planes. More often then not we live in only 1/2 of one of them. Forwardly folded in flexion looking down at our ‘smart’phones, seated hunched over our computer desks and rounded through the lower back with our pelvis all tucked under passively sitting on our couch.
The less we more in our other brilliant planes, the more unhealthy stacked our postures become and as soon as we move in a different direction OUCH! Injury.
Get up. Grab your broom and Cat Wave Butt Flower yourself like it’s nobody’s business. Except your health. That is the only opinion you should be concerned with.

Currently obsessed with learning everything I can about our body’s brilliant Lymphatic System.
“The lymphatic system is one of the most overlooked, yet significant systems in the body. This expansive system travels throughout the body to remove waste from every cell while helping to regulate the immune system.
The lymphatic vessels act like a giant drainage system for the body that needs to stay clear for it to work properly. Just like in your home if the drains are clogged in your toilet or sink, you can’t get rid of waste effectively—the same is true for your body. Stagnant lymph flow leads to waste and toxin buildup, weakening immunity and leading to a wide variety of health issues.”
The lymphatic system does not have a built-in pump like the heart, which propels blood through the circulatory system, where it gets oxygenated, filtered, and circulated. Therefore, the lymphatic system relies on the contraction and relaxation of the muscles and joints to move the lymph. The rhythmic tensing and relaxing of the muscles during physical movement wring out the tissues and propel fluid through the lymphatic channels.
Three easy ways to move your lymph naturally:
1️⃣Laughter and deep breathing involve movement of the diaphragm and abdominal muscles that help push lymph through the vessels.
2️⃣ 2. Stay hydrated.
Lymph fluid is about 95 percent water and becomes thicker and less fluid when you are dehydrated. In fact, one of the most common causes of lymph congestion is dehydration. Stay well-hydrated by sipping warm purified water throughout the day to help keep your lymph flowing well. Avoid sugar-laden soft drinks, processed juices, sports drinks, and alcohol.
3️⃣Dry brushing and lymphatic massage also help to support healthy lymphatic flow in the skin-associated lymphatic tissue. The coarse bristles of a dry brush encourage movement of the lymph and blood in the underlying tissues, which helps move out built-up toxins. Brush or massage your body gently, working toward the heart and paying special attention to the head, neck, feet, breasts, and abdomen, where lymphatics are concentrated.

I believe movement is poetry and every BODY should have the ability to write their own. The pen for my latest JGTV release comes in the form of 2 dumbbells, which a couple cans of what you may be having for dinner could easily substitute for your own full body, feel good poetic composition.

It is commonly understood that yoga means union, oneness, bliss. The term yoga comes from a Sanskrit word which is connected to the English word to yoke or union. Most people in the West, and also many in India, confuse yoga with Hatha Yoga , the system of bodily postures. So much so that in our culture it has almost become a competitive sport of flexibility and acrobatics. Traditionally, physical and mental exercises were designed to help achieve Yoga’s goal of joining the individual self with the Divine, Universal Spirit, or Cosmic Consciousness. Also called self-transcendence or enlightenment. On the physical level, yoga postures, called asanas, are designed to tone, strengthen, and align the body. These postures are performed to make the spine supple and healthy and to promote blood flow to all the organs, glands, and tissues, keeping all the bodily systems healthy. On the mental level, yoga uses breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation (dyana) to quiet, clarify, and discipline the mind. Working towards this ultimate self-mastery is to be Yogin and has zero to do with trying to pretzel ourselves into the poses from the overload of Instagram posts you see of hyper mobile bodies in postures they have been able to perform since existing the womb.
To be Yogin, means to be conjoined in Mind, Body, Breath and Spirit in search of your own divine.
So I ask you, have you Yogin’d today?

5 ways to make the Mind/Body most out of working from home.
1️⃣ Drink more water (No one can judge you for how many times you get up to p*e)
2️⃣ Get creative with your office set up
Change it up to work your posture in different ways and help avoid muscular imbalances
3️⃣ Close your eyes and take 1 deep, fluid breath in through your nose and out through your mouth
4️⃣Take mini stretch breaks
A few simple neck circles, wrist circles, or heel lifts oxygenates your brain in all sorts of healthy ways. Remember to breathe as you move.
5️⃣ Write down something you are grateful for everyday and stick it close to your work space to turn the corners of your mouth up every time you think of it.
