Last week in Brooklyn’s Sunset Park, a section of a first-floor concrete deck collapsed during a pour — sending four workers plunging 32 feet to the sub-cellar level.

All four workers were hospitalized in stable condition, but the incident highlights ongoing safety challenges across active construction sites.

The has since issued violations for:
⚠️ Failure to safeguard the site
⚠️ Inadequate worker orientation
⚠️ Work performed contrary to approved safety plans

Every incident like this is a reminder that even routine operations demand strict adherence to approved plans, supervision, and safety training.
