In honor of Black History Month, we hosted a Round Robin & Exhibition on Wednesday night in conjunction with NY Squash. Over 40 individuals came out for some friendly competition, plus a chance to hit on court with squash professionals. A huge thank you to the squash pros who attended:

Busayo Olatunji - The top women's squash player in Nigeria

Olufunmilayo Gabriel - The number two men's squash player in Nigeria

Khamal Cumberbatch - A two-time Caribbean National Champion

Harlem Squash Club is hosting a free squash clinic for women and girls on Feb. 4 at the SL Green StreetSquash Center! In honor of National Girls & Women in Sports Day, this event is open to all skill levels—including absolute beginners.

We're excited to announce the StreetSquash Grand Reopening and Fall Festival on Saturday, October 18, from 12 to 3 p.m.

After a major renovation of all eight of our squash courts, we can't wait to welcome the community into our space to see the new upgrades and try out the sport of squash. If you already have experience with squash, courts will also be available for you.

Join us for a great family event featuring:

• A pro squash exhibition

• Face painting

• Pumpkin painting

• Food trucks

All activities and food are completely free! No registration required. We're located at 41 West 115th Street in Harlem.

Please note that if you're looking to book courts, complete your box league matches, participate in Tuesday Night Round Robins, or join Community Squash, this is your final week to do so for a while.

After 17 years of daily squash practice and competition from StreetSquash students and the Columbia University Men’s and Women’s Squash teams, our courts are getting some much-needed renovations.

We're excited to reopen in late September and can't wait to welcome the entire Harlem community back to see our new courts, find out about our programming, and learn the sport of squash!

When we reopen, our prices will remain the same, and we'll still have, by far, among the cheapest access to squash courts in all of New York City.

Keep in mind that our reopening date remains fluid at this point, but we will let you know once our building is open for the community again.
