Don’t let your technique take a vacation! Our Summer Ballet Session is officially open for enrollment. Without the stress of the school year, summer is the absolute best time to focus on your alignment, build core strength, and master those stubborn turns.
Whether you’re maintaining your technique or trying ballet for the first time, we have a place for you at the barre.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: GABBY VALLES🌟

     My name is Gabriella Valles. I started dancing at Queens Dance Academy in 2017. What started as a new activity quickly turned into a passion and a place where I truly felt like I belonged. A year later, I was invited to join the company, an experience that helped shaped me not only as a dancer, but as a person. I will be graduating from Christ the King Regional High School.
     Through the years, dance has taught me confidence, discipline, and the importance of perseverance. There was long nights, early mornings, tough rehearsals, and moments where I felt exhausted, but every second was worth it. Dance introduced me to a group of people who became so much more than teammates, they became family. The friendships, memories, and support I’ve found here are something I will carry with me forever.
     This Fall, I will be attending Sacred Heart University, where I will major in Exercise Science as I work toward becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I’m so excited to continue dancing as part of the Performing Arts Dance Program at Sacred Heart University and to carry everything I’ve learned at Queens Dance Academy into this new chapter of my life.
     To the younger dancers, I want to say: always trust yourself and enjoy every moment. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes as they are a part of the process. Always give your best effort, even on the days when it feels hard because those are the moments that shape you the most. Don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s, everyone grows at their own pace. Most importantly, never lose the passion that made you fall in love with dance.
     To everyone at Queens Dance Academy, thank you for becoming my second family. You’ve supported me and helped me grow in ways I never imagined. The memories, friendships, and lessons I’ve gained here will stay with me forever. No matter where life takes me, this will always feel like home.
