While our kids are dancing in the park this summer… our brand new dance floor at 222 E. 34th is getting all set up for fall classes! We can’t wait to dance with everyone in the newly done space🎉

Recital Season!
MMDC is revving up for In-Class Recital Week! Our dancers have been hard at work and are ready to show their parents all of their newly developed movement and dance skills. We truly couldn’t be prouder of our dancers, happy practicing!!

This sweet moment captured before class is a perfect representative of the wonderful bond that dance can create. When we step into the dance studio, the people there become more than classmates. They become friends, community, a family. At MMDC, we love being able to witness our students create these special friendships everyday.💗

✨PROPS!✨

Something that we love to integrate into our dance classes here at MMDC are props. Not only are props a great chance for children to bring imagination and creativity into their dancing but also, they are a great way to make sure that every child is staying engaged in the activity and interacting during the exercise.

Miss Jackie leads a dancer though an obstacle course. This will help our dancer on her jumping skills as well as balance.

A private, outdoor dance lesson integrates props as well! The dancer keeps a ducky on her head to practice her balance.

Miss Michelle uses hula hoops with her class to help dancers improv coordination and mobility!
