Look for Ahead 👁
In order to shed the skin of old identities and experience true happiness and freedom, we must set our sights on who and what we can become.
If you feel complacent with where you are at in life, try refining your visions to ‘ahead’.
Picture how you want to show up in the world and what that will mean for you and everyone else if you can release the grip of whatever is no longer serving you, and then commit to blossoming into that future version of yourself. Keep a journal to track your efforts and hold yourself accountable, but do so mindfully, joyfully and without judgment.
The sense of loss can’t be there if we let go of the sense of attachment.
Suffering can be a doorway to grace.
By transmuting afflictions into the thing that wakes us up, we can better focus our efforts on helping others demolish their demons as well.
The path is within you. Turn on the light and look for ahead.

Sculpting your thoughts > Sculpting your bod 🙇🏻♀️💕
This week my Mind has been like a wild horse bucking uncontrollably and boy was it ever challenging to rein in 🐎😅
I had to put myself through a little mental boot camp to find my footing and come back to earth.
Between traveling 🧳 and preparing for some upcoming changes, I felt in great need of a mental spa treatment 🧖🏻♀️
So…I got to work in my practice 🧠🧹
I can’t control any outcomes I seek to achieve, but I certainly can assist in sculpting my Mind to create the conditions that will allow for these outcomes to blossom 🌸
Wallowing about in resentment and “should have” and “could have” isn’t really going to get us anywhere nearer to getting our way.
The most effective solution is to focus on helping other people get what they want, especially if they want the same thing as you do (who the hell doesn’t want to be loved, cared for, respected and understood? Start there! 🙂) and do so joyfully, with no expectations of anything in return 🤗 Guarantee you’ll be seeing these things roll right back at ya 🌀

Blurring the edges of Kindness
Last week I was working with a mantra to “move through the discomfort” and thought the only way out is through, but what if instead of forcing a situation to change we just SIT with the discomfort and show ourselves and others a little more compassion?
By developing patience and bearing hardships we might be able to learn a valuable lesson and stop ourselves from bulldozing through it and creating further damage and provide a space for what you ultimately want to happen to actually happen. When you sit with what is you might be able to see the beauty in a seemingly tricky situation.
Applying kindness to yourself and others doesn’t have to be so conditional. This should be non-negotiable - allow your Kindness to have no edge or limit. You never know what or whom can be acting as your Teacher.

Finding Refuge in your meditation practice acts as a means of protection. We open our space to create shelter and a sense of sanctuary and then make offerings as a way to bribe our minds and hearts to open ❤️🔥
I take Refuge in my practice as a way to go to war against my mental afflictions, and I don’t do it alone ⚔️
I take Refuge in this practice to find my Inner Teacher, to learn the valuable lessons, to remember why I started doing this practice in the first place and recall the benefits ✨
Meditation isn’t the destination, it’s the path to meeting the guide within that can lead the way 🪄
