My annual real talk post about my thoughts before closing out 2022…I feel like I’ve been out of the country for 2 years when it’s been only 2 weeks. They say time expands to fill the experience alotted. It was amazing to work outside KTS HQ with my old international colleagues and mentors to plan something globally for the future, not just in the USA 🇺🇸 here we go 🛩️ Every day was full of training, traveling, learning, teaching, and having meetings with some big players in my field. Glad to be back though - with more focus and drive to accomplish the big goals ahead 🌍📈⚔️


The most important part of this trip for me though was standing and meditating/praying on this wall. I’m always moving and going going going 🏃🏻‍♂️ to accomplish the mission ahead. However, It was so transformative and healing to finally be able to just be still and stop / reflect and seek answers for the purpose of it all. If we are not helping people become better versions of themselves and forming real and genuine relationships, then we are doing it wrong because those are the things we will remember when we die. 2022 was the year of the tiger and the birth of the first location for - it came with a lot of painful and joyful experiences where I felt true loss and gain at the same time 🇰🇷🐅 This upcoming year I will focus on being a better coach not only physically but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Being a “Coach” is so much more than just teaching how to punch or kick. I need to focus on the other more important things that actually matter in life 👊🏻

Probably one of the most stressful and restless weekends of my life..best time I never want to have again 😅 12 hours of cornering fights back to back every day…warming up, cooling down immediately (since the schedule keeps changing), warming up again, holding pads, mental preparation, creating different strategies, navigating logistical complications of a tournament 😵‍💫 I thought I was going to lose my mind, but we got the job done thanks to the team 📈💯
