Beatrice crushed her debut this weekend.
It was great to see so many of you. The energy in the city is off the chain right now. It was fun to teach a new Athletic Yoga class today, and try out a new 45-minute format yesterday.
Thanks to all of you who came out to practice, and to my private clients for having me over.
I love providing virtual classes for your home practice, but I’m also grateful to be able to follow my passion and connect with with my NYC students in-person.
I’ll be back next weekend. DM me if you want to practice as I’m putting together a few exclusive events.

Arm balances are my favorite poses for photos.
But to be frank, I rarely incorporate them into my practice or my classes.
My regular practice is very basic. I focus mostly on simplicity and routine, and I train the fundamentals daily with sun salutations, a few standing poses, and a few restorative stretches.
But what’s very cool for me is to notice how consistent focus on the fundamentals gives me the strength, flexibility, and balance to be able to play with advanced poses.
Yoga doesn’t have to be sexy or flashy. It just needs to be consistent and practical for your life.
That’s why I teach a short 30-minute class every morning.
With dedication to a quick daily practice, my students:
-lose weight
-get extremely strong
-vastly improve their flexibility
-lower their blood pressure
-decrease stress
-and give less f***s about dumb $h!t

I don't know about you, but there are days where I can find 100 reasons why I shouldn't feel good about myself.
But as you know, you will typically find what you're looking for.
So my challenge for you is this:
LOOK FOR REASONS TO FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF!
Typically, when you feel good about yourself, you're more productive, better at solving problems, and generally more enjoyable to be around.

Apparently 5 days on the beach in Mexico right after my wedding last January was NOT a honeymoon. Esther says it was our “minimoon”. Lol.
I guess now that the world is opening again, I’ll have to start planning our “real honeymoon” to France that I promised her.

The more you're willing to put yourself out there, the better chance you have of being in the right place at the right time and meeting the right people.
This used to happen to me ALL THE TIME. But more recently with the pandemic and working remotely, I haven’t put myself out there as much.
However, that all changes NOW. Because I’m excited to begin teaching yoga in person again and connecting with people IRL.
I’ll be in New York this weekend subbing at Equinox. (Sun 10:30a Brookfield Place). I’ll also be working 1:1 with a few of my students.
