Registration is NOW OPEN for our Winter 2026 Absolute Beginner Ballet Workshop with faculty member Annastasia Mercedes! Whether you've always wanted to try ballet or are looking for the perfect place to begin, this welcoming workshop is designed to help you build confidence while learning the fundamentals in a supportive environment.

This is an introductory five-or-six-class workshop for adults with little to no prior ballet experience. Students are guided through the foundational elements of ballet, including basic positions, core exercises, introductory terminology, posture, alignment, and classroom etiquette.

Over the past two weeks, our JoffreyRED Contemporary Ballet Summer Intensive brought together dedicated dancers for an inspiring experience rooted in both classical excellence and contemporary innovation. Under the direction of Artistic Director Josie Walsh Josie Walsh, students strengthened their technical foundation while exploring the creativity, versatility, and artistry that define today’s contemporary ballet landscape.

From daily ballet technique and pointe classes to contemporary ballet, modern, improvisation, partnering, composition, and more, each day challenged dancers to expand their movement vocabulary and deepen their artistic expression.

A heartfelt thank you to our Artistic Director Josie Walsh, our outstanding faculty and staff, and every dancer who brought their passion, commitment, and artistry to the studio each day. Congratulations on an incredible summer, and we can’t wait to see where your journey takes you next!

Our NYC Jazz & Contemporary Summer Intensive: SPECTRUM has officially begun, welcoming dancers into an inspiring environment where creativity, versatility, and artistic exploration take center stage. Guided by our exceptional faculty, students are already embracing new movement, taking artistic risks, and building meaningful connections in the studio. Meanwhile, our NYC Ballet Summer Intensive enters its final week as dancers prepare for Thursday's culminating performance, bringing together weeks of focused training, artistry, and dedication in a celebration of all they have accomplished this summer.

As one journey begins and another reaches its exciting conclusion, our New York City studios continue to be filled with the passion, commitment, and artistry that make each Summer Intensive a truly unforgettable experience.

UK 🇬🇧 We’re coming back! August 16-18th, Joffrey Ballet School returns to Birmingham for the 2026 CYD? x Joffrey UK Intensive, in collaboration with Can You Dance? for the 4th year, welcoming dancers ages 10–18 for an immersive three-day summer experience.⁠

Following the incredible success of last year’s intensive, we are excited to return to the UK with a program designed to build versatility, adaptability, and performance readiness. Dancers will train across ballet, jazz, contemporary, and commercial styles, learning from an outstanding faculty of Joffrey Ballet School and Can You Dance? professionals.⁠

Throughout the intensive, dancers will work with international choreographers and instructors whose careers span every facet of the dance industry. Scholarships and awards will be offered, including opportunities to audition for the Joffrey Ballet School 2027 Summer Intensives and our year-round Trainee Programs in New York City.⁠

2026年8月12日〜14日の3日間、あましんアルカイックホール・オクトで実施されます。10〜25歳のみなさん、クラシックバレエ と コンテンポラリ－バレエの両方を、ジョフリーバレエスクール ならではの魅力とともにご体験ください。

本プログラムは、クラシックバレエテクニック、コンテンポラリーバレエ、ポワント、バリエーション、レパートリー、モダン、パートナリング、ヒップホップ、そして最終日のショーケース(パフォーマンス）など、充実した内容となっています。

SStep into the world of Cirque du Soleil at our Joffrey Las Vegas Cirque Arts Summer Intensive. Presented in Artistic Collaboration with Cirque du Soleil Casting , students train with the artists who bring some of Las Vegas' most spectacular performances to life every night. Our students had the privilege of learning from Cirque du Soleil performers Nariah Mullins and Rachel Nelson, gaining firsthand insight into the artistry, versatility, and professionalism required to succeed in the world of circus arts.

Nariah Mullins, currently a featured soloist in Cirque du Soleil's Mystère and the company's youngest current cast member, led a Mystère-inspired masterclass designed as a mock Cirque du Soleil casting audition. As a former Joffrey Ballet School summer intensive student herself, returning to teach made this experience especially meaningful. Rachel Nelson, who has performed with Mystère for the past three years following an accomplished ballet career with Nevada Ballet Theatre, shared her extensive classical training through ballet class, demonstrating how a strong technical foundation supports success across a wide range of professional performance careers.

We are incredibly grateful to Nariah, Rachel, and our outstanding faculty for sharing their experience, mentorship, and passion with our dancers. Opportunities to learn from accomplished professionals through our ongoing Artistic Collaboration with Cirque du Soleil Casting are an invaluable part of the Joffrey Las Vegas Cirque Arts Summer Intensive experience!
