As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close, we turn the spotlight to the voices of our own Joffrey Ballet School students.
Throughout the month, we have celebrated the traditions, artistry, and cultural influences that contribute to the world of dance. To conclude our celebration, we invited members of our Pre-Professional Trainee Program who are part of the Hispanic community to share what Hispanic Heritage Month means to them, reflecting on their heritage, personal experiences, and the role their identities play in shaping who they are as dancers and individuals.

At Joffrey Ballet School, we believe that every dancer brings something unique into the studio. Our community is built on the individuality of our students, the experiences they share, and the connections they create through a common passion for dance. By embracing these differences, we continue to learn from one another and grow together, both as artists and as people.
While Hispanic Heritage Month may be coming to an end, the voices, stories, and contributions of our Hispanic community remain an important part of who we are at Joffrey Ballet School. Thank you to our Trainees for sharing their perspectives and allowing us to celebrate this month through their voices.
