Congratulations to EVERY single person featured on the main flyer — the artists, organizers, elders, cultural leaders, collaborators, and visionaries who made this moment unforgettable.

A special and deeply deserved congratulations to Ms. Joyce Adewumi (Osuntawede Ifatoyin) and her phenomenal staff and team for producing such a beautifully organized, intentional, and soul-centered gathering. The care, respect, and cultural integrity poured into this event was felt from start to finish. This is community work done with excellence.

The girls and I were honored to present: ✨ Egún flowing into Obatala during the dressing of the table — a sacred moment of ancestral remembrance, purity, and reverence
🔥 Followed by Dos Aguas en Changó — strength, fire, rhythm, and divine power

The response from the crowd said everything — the love was real, the energy was strong, and the connection was undeniable.

There is something incredibly powerful about seeing local leaders, elected officials, and policymakers genuinely support and appreciate Afro-diasporic art and culture. Deep respect and appreciation to all who showed love — including Senator Cordell Clear — for standing with the arts, the elders, and the culture. When leadership and community move together, everyone wins.
