Our Inspiration:

This is our city and we love it. We know cities are incredible places to live with amazing opportunities and resources. We are also outdoor enthusiasts. But can outdoor enthusiasts also be urban? OutdoorFest aims to provide a place for all of us to tap into our core love of nature and adventure and bring it into our daily lives. Most importantly, we want to do this together with

This month's Mappy Hour theme is ❄️ winter ❄️ so
we're celebrating with a cozy night at
Snow Peak Brooklyn!

We'll sip hot chocolate and learn
about winter camping from Brandielee Johnson.

Spoiler alert: Winter Camping (shockingly) doesn't
have to be a torturously uncomfortable experience if
you know what to bring.

In fact, winter camping can be a new way to connect
with the season, incredibly peaceful and ... fun!

Honestly, even if you never plan to go winter camping
(we see you warm weather friends) you can still swing
by and meet new adventure buddies for your summer
camping shenanigans.

📆 Wednesday, February 28
⏰ 7-9PM
📍 Snow Peak Brooklyn, N6th / Wythe

Slightly delayed Earth Day recap. Here are some of our favorite shots from our adventures on the Appalachian Trail last month.

We were lucky to have a shuttle so we could do a point to point hike from Lake Walkill Road to the end of the famed Pochuck Boardwalk at RT 94. An awesome 7 mile section that includes a tough ascent, great views and arguably one of the coolest features of the AT.

Can't wait until our next adventure (...this weekend!)

We're back for another year of meet-ups, field trips and outdoor community!

We're gathering next Tuesday night in Bushwick for a night with our friends at . Founders Allison & Chelsea have been amazing supporters of Mappy Hour for many moons and we're so excited that they'll be able to share their story with our community tonight.

Chelsea & Allison will kick off the night with their story one of big dreams and big goals: starting a new business and why they're so obsessed with layers. The second part of the talk will be tactical to help all of us get outside safely and comfortable this winter: layering 101.

Come for the inspiration, stay for the expert tips. Brews by our besties at  (of course).

January 17 at Hikerkind Studios in Bushwick. Register at MappyHour.org
